VINTAGE VERY RARE UNBRANDED BUT KEYSTON DESIGN COPPER/BRONZE TONED ANTIQUE OLDER STYLE CA. 1940’S AMERICAN COWBOY BELT BUCKLE FEATURING RANCH BRANDS, BUCKING BRONCO BUSTER, AND LONGHORN STEERS- This fantastic very old antique American cowboy belt buckle has developed a wonderful copper & bronze toned patina over the many decades since it was made. We cannot see any maker or material hallmarks on it, but the design and quality is exceptionally nice. A special thank you goes out to the helpful Ebayer who sent us a photo of this exact design that he owns in Sterling silver that was hallmarked by Keyston, San Francisco. So, this one is either an early unhallmarked Keyston or an exact copy of their Design. It features an older style clasp as we show in the photos, and the combination of ranch brands, Longhorns and Bronco buster at the center is rare and very artistic. So is the lasso rope border!! Offering for your consideration is a awesome antique circa 1890s Mexican double loop holster and pistol belt for the big bore. 44-40 caliber 4 3/4 inch barrel Colt SAA Frontier Six Shooter Revolver. This holster was specifically made for a 4 3/4 inch barrel Colt SAA and would not fit even a 5 1/2 inch barrel revolver. The gun belt was made for. 44-40 caliber ammunition although would fit the. 45 Long Colt caliber ammunition. I’m sure if you are a collector you already know the classic Mexican double loop holster was immensely popular with cowboys, lawmen, and outlaws alike on the american western frontier. The only markings I can see is very faint marking on the pistol belt. This very sturdy well made rig remains in good condition. CASE’S Tested XX HATCHET Vintage Hunting Antique Axe Basketweave Sheath Hand Ax… This very handsome piece appearing to have had minimal use, has some scratches, a few spots of oxidation, signs of use. Etching reads CASE’S/TESTED XX. Measures approx 10 OAL. The head is about 4″x2.5″, all integral and largely shiny. The blade edge has a couple of tiny nicks. The hard wood handle is warm and comfortable, affords a secure grip. Note that when I hold it tightly and simulate a chopping motion, a very slight amount of “play” is evident/audible. It is perfectly useable, but could be annoying if used for field dressing or heavier tasks. The belt sheath is in excellent condition, having healthy leather and no remarkable damage. The snap works fine, has some scratches. Overall, this is an outstanding find, very collectible. ALL SALES ONLY WHERE LEGAL. Note that items sent to Canada are usually less expensive.
