Antique Victorian figural porcelain tobacco jar / tea caddy / humidor featuring a seated woman holding a teacup with a side tray and teapot. Colorful hand-painted details include a purple bodice, pale green floral skirt, blue ribbon, molded chair back, and figural accessories. “120” on bottom of top piece. “2513 9″ on the bottom of base. This style is comparable to a circa 1880 “Tobacco jar” example on display at the Victoria and Albert Museum in South Kensington. Measures approximately 8.5 tall. Condition: Antique preowned condition with age-related wear. Surface wear present, especially around the rim, chair, hair, and high points. Some wear to exposed edges and underside.
