A Beautiful Antique French Japy Freres figural cherub ormolu (finely gilded bronze) mounted mantel clock completed with white alabaster case. Has a Japy Freres movement number 5331 EB 4 1. The exceptional case with ormulu mounts, figural motifs and floral swags. The movement by Japy Freres is of high quality and is in excellent, clean and running condition. Clock strikes on the hour and half hour on a bell. Beautiful, clean and bright ormolu with only slight discoloration on top mount. Complete with original pendulum and bell. This clock measures 14.5″ high by 11″wide and a depth of 4 1/4. The clock face is missing the Roman Numeral 7 (VII). Otherwise in excellent condition.
