Vintage Airplane Propeller > Antique Old Plane Aviation Wood Propellers 8225. Vintage wooden airplane propeller. It appears to be made of a hardwood. The propeller is 36″ long and is 4 1/4″ wide. It has a 1 bore. Good condition for its age with moderate to severe scratches, nicks and wear. Also the mounting holes appear to have been drilled off location, see pictures. Antique working Victorian ANSONIA iron mantel clock MERCURY. On offer is this antique ANSONIA clock case – Mercury. A black painted metal base that is 15″ tall and 17 1/2 ” wide. Harder to find model. Decorative metal accents to front corners at base and on base front. The bronze God Mercury sits to side of clock. Few smalls’ Knocks to black finish right hand side base. Beveled glass front door to clock. Enamel dial in white , good condition. Black colored hands , Roman numerals. Metal door to back. Marked Ansonia Clock Co – Patented June 18th 1882. About the item: Stunning full size antique carousel horse, c1890. It is beautifully carved in a’prancing’ style and the head is turned slightly to the left. There is lots of original metal work , including stirrups. There is a good amount of original paintwork giving just the right’distressed’ look. Overall condition is good in line with age and use. It is structurally sound with no loose joints etc. There is evidence of various historic repairs and some of the metal strap work is loose. The eyes look to be the original glass ones. The original horse hair tail has been replaced with leather but this could be easily rectified. It sits on a modern stand. Poor – Fair Condition. Not tested at all. Assumed not working, and requires further repairs and maintenance. Fine wears and chip damages. Both figurines (on the sides) have broken wings. Front clock face has fine crackle patterns. Some fading or missing decorations on the numbers. Some minor bents on the movement hands. Some obvious dust and residue inside the clock. Some metal discolorations and rusts. No dangling or loosened parts inside (when I gently shake this clock). Will carefully pack this clock (w/ the pendulum). Circa: late 19th – early 20th century, America. Height: 12″ inches Base size: 15-1/4″ x 5-1/4 inches. I saved this gem from the being thrown out a few years back & have been using it as a display piece in my shop ever since – but now it’s time to send it off to a new home! Welcome to North Lawrence Antiques. Offered here is a vintage ZENITH 1938 model 12S268 with”robot” dial. T some time this radio had a 7s-258 chassis installed (see photos) in place of its original 12s268. Measures 36”h X 38 1/4”w X 12”d. From a recent local estate. Receives and plays stations well. Looks to me like it was refinished at some point – but not recently. Has 2 small veneer chips which I have shown closeup photos of alongside a quarter to give you a better idea of their size. We are located fairly midway between Columbus and Cleveland, Ohio. Most items i list are from local estates and usually they are in areas of collecting that I have little or no knowledge of.
