My husband began restoring and repairing antique telephones over 35 years ago. It started with just one telephone for me from my husband, but it soon turned into a labor of love for these old relics. What time and nature had done to these old pieces was so sad to see, but as they came to life, so did our love of these truly beautiful restored antique telephones. He is no longer repairing or restoring our beautiful and collectible antique telephones, as we are up in age. Now we have decided to list pieces that we have collected through the years for our future generation of collectors. They will carry on the torch for the newest and next generation of our country’s best. Our history will always be a part of our past, and what better way to be a part of it than to actually restore or repair these treasured pieces from a bygone era that will live on forever? We have an opportunity to leave our mark in this world. This antique Automatic Electric 1A monophone is in original condition with original cords. In our 35 years plus of collecting we have only come across three antique telephones that were in such great condition we kept them as is. This beautiful telephone would make a great addition to your personal collection as is and a beautiful piece of history from days gone by or simply enjoy it as a unique little treasure. These treasures are far and few in between and don’t come around very often in my opinion and from our experience collecting all these years. All of our items come from a pet-free and smoke-free home. Some of the items we are listing may need a few tweaks here and there, but they can all come back to life with a little time and effort. The feeling and sense of pride from completing and restoring these truly old treasures from the past is so rewarding that it can’t be explained until you actually see the great work you’ve accomplished in a craft well done.
