Hand-blown cranberry glass body with gilt floral decoration. Brass hinged cap with engraved detail inside the lid. Original glass stopper intact. Attached chain with finger ring for carrying or attaching to a chatelaine. Lid opens and closes securely; hinge in good condition. 1.75 tall (including cap). This lovely little perfume or vinaigrette bottle would have originally been used to hold perfume or aromatic vinegar, carried by ladies as a fashionable accessory. Condition: Very good antique condition with light wear to the gilt, age patina to metal, and some minor surface scratches from use. Glass stopper present (often missing on pieces of this age).
