This antique ornate miniature nickel plated vanity table is a charming collectible piece that adds elegance to any room. Antique Caron’Acaciosa’ perfume bottle. This incredibly rare piece is in excellent condition! No chips or cracks. Designed label by Felicia Bergard Vanpouille for the 1924 launch of the’Acaciosa’ scent for Caron, (perfumer Earnest Daltroff), the beveled, crystal bottle was designed by Baccarat. Ground stopper is green color within the clear. Label is without flaw! Shiny gold scripting & border, on a backdrop of matte gold. (See photos for further description). 4.5″ x 1.5″ x 1. Hand-blown cranberry glass body with gilt floral decoration. Brass hinged cap with engraved detail inside the lid. Original glass stopper intact. Attached chain with finger ring for carrying or attaching to a chatelaine. Lid opens and closes securely; hinge in good condition. 1.75 tall (including cap). This lovely little perfume or vinaigrette bottle would have originally been used to hold perfume or aromatic vinegar, carried by ladies as a fashionable accessory. Condition: Very good antique condition with light wear to the gilt, age patina to metal, and some minor surface scratches from use. Glass stopper present (often missing on pieces of this age). Lovely antique French blue glass scent bottle with ormolu decoration, adorned with painted plaque. I believe would have been bought as a Grand Tour souvenir. Stunning quality item in excellent condition. 10.5 cm tall. IN VERY NICE CONDITION DESPITE ITS 142YEARS OF AGE & USE SHOWING very MINOR WEAR, BOTH The bottle and stopper ARE IN PERFECT UNDAMAGED CONDITION. PERFECT FOR THE SERIOUS COLLECTOR. This would make a stunning present gift. THERE ARE SOME very LIGHT SCRATCHES TO THE GLASS BUT NO CRACKS or chips. Reassuring to also see slight imperfections in the glass which guarantees it is an early version. THE “FLIP TOP” MECHANISM IS IN FULL WORKING ORDER AS IS THE PERFECT RARE GLASS STOPPER. The polished Pontil mark at the base is a great way to tell it’s early age. I have approximately 300 antique perfume bottles which I have taken many years collecting. (see a few in picture 11). I have also included a picture of part of my 750 strong collection of Sampson Mordan in picture 12. Obviously these are not included in the price of this item, just for reference. If you want spotless then the high street is for you, but if you want a great antique that will appreciate in price with age then this is for you. You don’t get this by messing people about. Beautiful Victorian Antique Cut Glass Perfume Bottle with Sterling Silver Hinged Top. Hallmark is an Anchor, Lion & h on rim of top (Birmingham c1907) another hallmark of a “Lion h” inside of. Lid- Measures 4″ tall and 3″ wide. Lid opens and closes well and securely snaps closed! There are signs of use on the top of lid, as it is soft sterling and over time developed a slight smooth indentation from closing the lid shut.
