Antique Scenic Overlay Slag Glass Lamp Bradley Hubbard Handel Miller Era

This listing is for the scenic slag glass lamp pictured. The lamp features a very ornate, bulbous base with an excellent original finish, sockets and pulls. The scenic shade is very unique. I’ve never seen another one in this design. It has 16 glass panels with the upper ones being caramel/green and the bottom border panels being blue. Also unique is the way the panels are held in. Many of these lamps have folding tabs that hold the panels in place but this one actually has full length dividers that are brazed into place making the panels solid and without gaps. The filigree design is missing one small tree in the center on a few of the panels. This is not very noticeable but PLEASE SEE ALL PICTURES> The lamp has good proportions at 23″ tall with the shade being 18″ wide. Antique Victorian Miller Hanging Oil Library Kerosene Parlor Ceiling Lamp Light

Up for sale is a beautiful Victorian kerosene hanging parlor or library ceiling light. The oil font is marked on the bottom with EM & Co and I believe a number. Then this was hand painted by a skilled artisan and the shade and font are matching. There is no pull down mechanism in the top they have the hanging chains attached as pictured. There are 40 hanging crystals around the bottom of the top shade. The glass shade measures 14″ across the bottom and the entire lamp is from the ceiling cover to the bottom of the bracket is approximately 40″. There are no cracks, chips or any other damage to any of the glass. There are a couple of dings on the top of the collar on the oil font.
