Edison at Orange NJ USA, circa 1898. This is The Early Model of the Gem Which Did Not Have a Cover, and Used a Slotted Winding Key. It is Serial Number G32282, and Has an Oak Base Which Measures approx. 9 1/2″ x 7 1/2″, and is Approx. This Includes The Original Signed “Edison Gem” 8 Panel Black Morning Glory Horn! I Tried a Cylinder and Wound it Up and The Movement Turned and it Played the Cylinder Disk Correctly, and Played The Whole Song to The End.
