Antique Rare Yellow Sevres Urn. A magnificent 1870’s unsigned sevres urn. A very yellow royal color with raised gold gilt decorated adornments and sea shell decoration. This museum quality may have been a lamp at one time but now is an urn. No breaks cracks or restorations. There is a chip on the inside underneath the cover, a very minor issue. Not evident when the cover is on. I have seen many sevres, royal Vienna, and KPM. This is the first yellow one I have encountered. 19″ tall x 9.5″ wide. Stunning antique ring with beautiful golden nugget centrepiece in 22 carat gold and the setting in 18 carat yellow gold. The formation of the nugget is entirely natural and you can see some quartz present mixed in with the gold. The gold ring is not stamped but has been acid tested as 18 carat gold. The ring is in great condition and is a smaller size but could be resized by any jeweller. These old golden nuggets from the early 1900s are becoming very collectable and this gem will be sure to become a key piece of your jewellery collection. Dimensions are as follows. This Jar is complete with original wire closure and correct, color-matched 3-Date Lid. Blown in an attractive shade of Pale Yellow with Amber tones and marked PUTNAM 342 on base.
