THIS IS A 1920’S AMERICAN GAS PUMP WITH THE EARLY FLYING A THEME. WE ACQUIRED THIS PUMP FROM A PERSONAL COLLECTION IN CLOVIS CALIFORNIA. IT WAS COMPLETELY DISASSEMBLED AND SANDBLASTED, PRIMED AND PAINTED. THE ARTWORK WAS DONE BY HAND AND THEN IT WAS COMPLETELY CLEAR COATED WITH A HI GRADE CLEAR. AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PHOTOS THE INSIDE WAS ALSO PAINTED. THE GALLON MARKERS INSIDE THE CYLINDER ARE NEW AND THE GLASS CYLINDER IS ORIGINAL BLUE GLASS. THE BRASS NOZZLE WAS POLISHED AND THE LEVER AND OTHER APPLICABLE PARTS WERE CHROMED. WE HAVE RESTORED SEVERAL GAS PUMPS FOR THE BLACKHAWK MUSEUM AND OTHER MUSEUM ALL OVER THE WORLD THIS PUMP WAS RESTORED IN THE SAME MANNER AS THOSE IN ORDER TO BE AT THE SAME LEVEL OF PERFECTION AS THE CARS THEY SHOWCASE.
