Up for sale is a NICE VICTOR Six 6 VI Phonograph Talking Machine with Early Rare Horn. I think around 1905- 1906. Interim horn between the paper mache and the mahogany horn. An early Rare morning glory. Original, touched up a bit. Felt on the turntable. Original mahogany finish in wonderful shape with some (but not too much checking). (see pictures) Some minor gold losses and spotting/wear on elbow (as expected) including horn bracket hold down, with a small unnoticeable dent in the back horn bracket. Case base is 15 1/2″ x 15 1/2″. Great front label (V6) (S/N 1661) and great gold horn support stenciling. Overall a great nice looking original piece. Check out this forum conversation for a short story of the same horn style.. Only meant to be a glimpse into history, nothing more…. This one doesn’t have the paper label. 1923 VV-80 Victor Victrola Antique Phonograph Cabinet Record Player. This plays “78” speed records. The sound on these is awesome, literally sounds like a loud speaker. If you are not a phonograph person and just want a nice antique statement/conversation piece and/or a very unique piece of history just to play your records on, this is for you. Feel free to send a message with any questions at all. Works and sounds great, loud and clear. Cabinet is in excellent condition it displays very well – finish is peeling a bit on bottom right corner of door but nothing major and there is a hairline crack in the leg shown in close-up picture but it is still sturdy. Dimensions approximately 21″ x 21″ x 40.5 height – Weighs probably around 75 lbs. THIS VINTAGE HISTORICAL RCA TELEVISION SPORTS A PRE-WAR DESIGNED TELEVISION CHASSIS HOUSED IN A PRE-WAR DESIGNED CABINET. THE TELEVISIONS ART DECO CABINET WAS DESIGNED BY WORLD RENOWNED INDUSTRIAL DESIGNER JOHN VASSOS (google him and this rca television for all the historical facts)!!! HERES JUST SOME OF WHAT I FOUND. This is an Art Deco styled vintage Television, with Channel One through Channel 13. The cabinet was designed by John Vassos (a famous industrial designer of the period) before World War Two, but WWII got in the way of production, so this fabulous TV design had to wait until RCA was ready to unveil their first line-up of post war sets, and these were marketed by RCA Victor for only a few months in 1946! This small wooden table top cabinet, was the smallest RCA Victor 1946 model, the 621-TS, with only around 15,000 ever produced and possibly only a hundred remaining. THE TV IS ABOUT 19 INCHES WIDE , 15 INCHES DEEP AND ABOUT 15 INCHES TALL , AND WEIGHS IN AT WELL OVER 60 POUNDS. THE TELEVISION IS UNTESTED , THE ELECTRIC CORD IS ORIGINAL AND CUT AT SOMETIME IN THE PAST. THE TELEVISION IS UNRESTORED , THE MAIN SCREEN PICTURE TUBE HAS GOOD FILIMENTS , THE TV APPEARS COMPLETE WITH ALL PARTS AND I DO NOT SEE ANYTHING MISSING. 1915 Victor Victrola VV-XVIII Antique Phonograph (Rare) Professionally Restored

This Victrola phonograph has been professionally restored from top to bottom, nothing has been overlooked. Everything is original to the unit. The Victrola XVIII is rare with only around 2,000 made for around a year and one restored to this condition is extremely rare. One of Victor’s best upright, inside-horn machines. Bears Serial #1098, with a nickel-plated, 3-spring motor. The cabinet, 23″ wide x 25″ deep, has “swell” (bombe) sides and front, Louis XV style moldings, and gold-plated hardware throughout. Features a 12 turntable, Exhibition reproducer, and storage for record albums in front and rear access doors. Both the record and phonograph sections have matching locks and key. The casters provide easy roll about. Beautiful book matched Ribbon Stripe Mahogany. Here is some info about the XVIII from the Victor Victrola Website. The XVIII was the most elegant non-custom phonograph that Victor made when it was introduced in the summer of 1915. This model had fancy hand carving, finely detailed veneer, and bowed front and side panels. Rare wood finishes were also available at extra cost. In 1915, the XVIII was the best standard catalog model available. Due to their relative rarity and beauty, these machines are prized by collectors today. An estimated total of 3,408 hand-wound Victrola XVIII’s were produced. Most documentation indicates that the XVIII models were made only in 1915 and 1916; however some records show that XVIII’s may have been available by special order up until 1922. 3 Month Restoration included. Cabinet carefully stripped completely down to reveal the original beautiful Ribbon Sapele mahogany wood, loose veneer repaired, fully sanded with special attention to carvings, corners and trim, stained using special wood dye to match color under lid. Added 3-4 layers of clear coat paying special attention to matching the original gloss depth to restore the finish to same condition as when it was new in 1915. The 3 spring motor was completely disassembled, chassis cleaned and polished and all springs, gears and other nickel plated & brass parts cleaned, inspected & re-assembled with modern synthetic lubrication for extra long protection and smooth operation. Tone arm and mount were removed, cleaned, mount repainted & gold stripe replaced, bearings replaced, lubricated and fully serviced. Tone arm fully cleaned, polished and new lubrication at pivot. Reproducer was fully cleaned and rebuilt with new gaskets, Mica & calibration. Platter was cleaned, polished and new felt applied. Castors & sleeves were replaced with duplicates since originals were not repairable. All knobs, screw heads, hinges & other parts were cleaned & polished before re-assembly. Final calibration was done using a 78 rpm strobe disc. This elegant and fully restored antique phonograph is rare, beautiful and would make a great addition to any home and would be a cherished family heirloom to pass down for generations. Rare Antique Model P2 Victor Talking Machine Horn Phonograph, Gramophone, Hmv

Here is a nicely restored Antique example of one of the Victor Talking Machine Co. Models that is seldom seen. This model is not very common at all! It is a Victor Model “P2″. It’s considerably smaller in size than the regular Victor “P” is. The case on this machine measures only 9 1/8″ x 10″ with a platter size that is 7 in diameter. The way that it is designed will also allow a 10 record to be played on it as well, though. The horn is the horn without the elbow is only about 14″ long with a bell diameter of 9 1/2″. It would be a perfect size to set one of the plaster “Nipper” dogs in front of so that he looks like he’s listening to “His Master’s Voice” (HMV). It’s a pretty nice example for anyone that collects Gramophones and other brands of Talking Machines Columbia, Edison, etc. The upper wooden horn support arm is a newer replacement one, since it must have been missing at one time (probably made 20 years ago or so). The Victor Exhibition reproducer was converted to a long throat one from a regular style one (if I didn’t point that out, you probably couldn’t even tell, but I’m trying to describe my items as accurately as possible). This model is not a “power house” so demonstrate it carefully. You can break ANY wind-up phonograph at ANY time if you over wind it. They are designed for “reasonable use”. It comes with a pack of 100 steel needles (change about every other play of a record) and it includes the record that is shown on it. You can also “Google” me if you want.
