HUGE CLOCKWORK RARE MUSEUM QUALITY 1900 27 BELSNICKLE NODDING GERMAN SANTA CLAUS. A very hard one to find this extremely large nodding Santa Claus in a glistening long magnificent white fur robe, collar, holding a toy doll in his arms and. Santa’s hat trimmed in blue to match his gorgeous blue glass eyes. Santa has a fluffy white mohair beard, with a very jolly smile. He is made of composition construction, and he is holding a three-tier candle lit feather tree in his hand. He stands a magnificent 27 Tall. Some very minor flaking on his forehead. He nods his head for hours, and he is in Excellent Condition. Ships in one day. Please see my feedback. This is a rare opportunity for a new marble collector to get a more than decent antique marble collection instantly instead of searching and hunting over decades. It is hard to find nice antique marbles these days, especially in larger lots. There are a lot of interesting marbles in this lot. A very nice group of banded-lutzes 2 of them over 1 1/2 inches! A blue glass divided core swirl. Many pretty onionskins. Rare end-of-day clouds. A very nice Gutta Percha. Micas, Josephs Coats etc. The largest marble (sulphide) is 2.1 inches in diameter, the smallest one (onionskin) is tiny 0.41 inches. The majority of these marbles is in very good shape. In my oppinion about 30% are “mint”, 65% are “near mint” and about 5% are “good/collectible”. But PLEASE check the pics carefully, download them and blow them up, ask for additional pics of specific marbles and decide for yourself if you agree to my grading. I just don’t want to have any discussion about condition later. I think I have enough experience to grade marbles but I also have to mention that I consider them as toys and therefore I still consider a marble as mint if it has some tiny as-made flaws or a small fleabite. All these marbles have their original surface (no polished or buffed marbles in this lot). Handmade between 1870 and 1920 in Thuringia, Germany. Antique Junghans German wall clock 1890. Imported from Germany Beautiful condition around 120 years old. Pre WW1, has a nice Porcelain Dial with Junghans logo, gong rod and light walnut finish. Cleaned and serviced brass movement. Another very rare and stunning ornate Vienna wall clock. It has beautiful hand made decor, beautiful colorful wood that shows off it’s rich colors of Antique beauty. The clock is made of walnut and has amazing and stunning detail. This clock tick’s and tock’s and gongs smooth and precise. 8 day clock, gongs on the hour and on the half hour. Does come with it’s key. The outside measurements are 42 inches tall from it’s tallest peaks and 14 inches wide from it’s widest peaks and 6 3/4 inches deep. The flawless porcelain clock face is 5 7/8 inches in diameter, with no flaws. Please look at all pictures. Feel free to ask any questions. Don’t forget to check out this weeks other items. This clock will be packed with Great Care. 1861, Erhard Junghans had set aside capital to start his own business producing accessories for clocks and subsequently complete clocks. He enlisted his brother Xaver, a cabinetmaker then living in America, to acquire the assembly-line machinery for making clock parts. 1866 the first clocks followed. But there is good evidence that as far back as 1869 the 5 pointed star with a J was used although not registered until 1882. The company further expanded over years merging with other well-known German clockmakers including Lenzkirch, Thomas Haller and Gustav Becker.
