Antique Singer 12k Fiddle base HandCrank Sewing Machine with Acanthus leaves variant decals. Serial numbers 9510601(1890 production). A hand crank 12k fiddle base Antique sewing machine. It is a transverse shuttle machine using a “boat” type shuttle. A 19th century antique Singer Family Model 12k fiddle base hand crank sewing machine comes with shuttle & bobbin in position. Good condition for its age but no needle, Case & accessries-slide plates are not original. This machine is in good condition and operates although not tested with fabric. Overall a cracking machine, which are becoming harder to find in this condition. Great useful vintage machine for display, use or collection. Ideal for sewing most materials like denim, canvas, silk, calico, and the like. It could be used as it was intended for sewing or upcycled as a small office ornament perhaps for antique/vintage /old sewing machine home decor, collectors, seamstress, architectural interior design, retro sewing & needle work machine. The piece is top to bottom sterling silver and has matching serial numbers of 513. Its engraved made in Switzerland with various patent marks, the clock is a 15 Jewell original Dunhill, original to the piece again, its not currently running a will need a service. The lighter will need a new flint and gas etc, its not really bought these days for use, more for decoration and investment. Height:- 4.6cm. Width:- 3.8cm. Depth:- 1.3cm. Antique Arcade Crystal No 3 coffee grinder. The wall mount cast iron section has worn white paint but retains the turned wooden handle. Glass jar is original with original tin lid that is embossed ARCADE, also the jar retains a tin collar around the small opening. Jar has a few flakes and rough spots on the top opening covered by the lid. The original cup is gone and has been replaced with a ribbed glass Anchor Hocking juice glass.
