For sale is a fantastic mixed lot of 14 antique tobacco premiums. These “tobacco rugs” were issued as collectible premiums by tobacco companies like Murad and others in the early 1910s. This collection includes: 7 Small Felts 5 Medium Felts 2 Large Felts (dimensions vary, typically larger decorative pieces) These pieces feature the iconic design against various patterned backgrounds. They were often collected and sewn together into quilts or pillows. Most in this lot still feature the original delicate silk fringe.
