An Antique Soldier’s Pocket notebook with notes on Abraham Lincoln’s assassination at Ford Theatre. There are also dates/notes of the soldier’s enlistment year 1861 and discharge year 1865, Harrisburg Pa. Company H, 54th Regiment. The soft cover book has a lot of stains, wear, and tears, some writing is illegible or faded, and writing crossed out. Contains some blank pages as well. Measures 5″ long x 2 1/2″ wide. Celluloid case is a tortoise brown color. There is one small chip on the corner of the book, please view in last photo. Otherwise, Excellent vintage condition!

The rabbit is posed alongside an opened tree stump, with a hook to display a pocket watch, locket or portrait miniature. In overall good antique condition with general wear commensurate with age and use. Some typical nicks to the tips of the leaves and a chip to the wood on the edge of the base as shown.
