This antique letter dated 1853 is a rare piece of history that will transport you back to the pre-Civil War era. Wear commensurate to age, including smudging, age stains, discoloration, tears, folds etc commensurate to a letter of its age. Some burn marks by the corners of folds.

This offering is for an antique mid 19th century full plate tintype photograph. The image features an older fellow and although not identified he seems every bit the southern gentleman. The photo measures app. 7″ X 10″ and the overall condition is excellent. There is overall surface crazing and the varnish has yellowed slightly. There are no dents, no creases and no bends.
