A COLLECTOR’S DREAM! This is an unbelievably rare antique: Humphrey’s Homeopathic Remedies kit, likely from the late 19th century. The bottles are glass and actually still have medicine in them. One is still in the original box. Homeopathy is a system of alternative medicine. The kit contains various remedies in bottles and boxes, along with a paper listing the different remedies and their uses. Humphrey’s was a well-known brand of homeopathic products. The remedies were used to treat a variety of ailments. Kits like this were common in the past when access to conventional medicine was limited. Homeopathic medicine is considered pseudoscience and lacks strong evidence of effectiveness. I list awesome, unique items like this daily. Much paint wear on the trays. Some paint wear on the other pieces. Needs cleaning A few small chips/fleabites on the edges. Please look at the 18 photos carefully!
