Here is a recent estate find. This is a Rare Vintage Working 1950’s French’Eames Era’ Mid Century Modern Atomic Starburst Sunburst Wall Clock, made by Duverdrey & Bloquel France. The Clock is Made of Black Painted Metal in the Shape Of A Starburst with Gold Gilt’Ball and Stick’ Accents. 24 1/2 in Diameter. The Dial is a Plain Black Modernist Minimalist Dial with Fancy Oversized Brass Moon and Star Hands! The Clock Movement is a French 8 Day Brass Mechanical Wind-up Movement That Winds From the Front, and Includes a Winding Key! The Movement is Signed “Duverdrey & Bloquel France”. We are very pleased to offer for sale. This great vintage”Atomic Z” floor lamp. I believe it was most probably manufactured by the Majestic. With 2 wooden boomerang accents. And has it’s original. Burlap style fiberglass shade. Check out my other items. For the matching floor lamp. The lamp’s measurements are. About 68” inches high. And about 18” inches wide with the shade. The base is about 11” inches in diameter. The shade’s measurements are. About 9.5” inches high. 18.5” inches long and 13” inches wide. This vintage floor lamp works perfectly, and is in very good condition. The only thing that would need mentioning. Would be tarnishing to the base. 60s Original vintage Mid Century Modernist large atomic rocket tripod floor lamp. Stunning large 60s rocket floor lamp with an amazing modernist Mid Century abstract circles in orange, brown and black fabric shade. These rocket lamps are very popular and becoming scarce in this condition as they are quite fragile and tend to be damaged easily. Rocket style floor lamps are usually presented with a spun fibreglass shade so this one is quite unique and rare. The legs are teak, a winner combination for the Mid Century interiors. The lamp is in excellent vintage condition, giving a very worm glow to any room, and full working order not PAT tested so it will need to be checked by a qualifies electrician before put to use. These lamps are very popular for their dramatic effect and this one is a special example for its size and pattern. It will certainly be a fabulous addition to any modern/retro environment. This beautiful Junghans Mid Century Starburst Atomic Sunburst Eames Era Wall Clock is in very good vintage condition. The rich and lustrous brown wood is gorgeous and well preserved. It is dated and stamped February 28 1958. The rich mix of brass and wood coupled with the unique design create a stunning wall clock. This wall clock keeps accurate time and will come with a fresh battery. Due to its age(1958), there is some wear to this fresh and unique piece, but it does not detract from its beauty and impact. To note the right lowest wood star burst is securely in place but just a tiny bit loose, and there is some cosmetic wear to one of the star bursts(as shown), however, it does not affect the integrity and presentation of the clock. The beauty, rarity, and overall intrinsic value of this Junghans wall clock are exceptional.
