1915 Antique Military Officers Trench Watch Solid Silver Full Hunter Serviced

ANOTHER RARE AND BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE SOLID SILVER COLLECTIBLE WATCH FROM ANTIQUETIMEONLINE! WITH ITS LOVELY DIAL THIS IS A SOUGHT AFTER 1915 SILVER TRENCH WATCH. A GREAT WATCH IN FANTASTIC ORIGINAL CONDITION! FULLY SERVICED AND READY TO WEAR! The 4 piece FULL HUNTER SCREW BACK case to this beautiful watch is solid English sterling silver. IT IS AN EXCELLENT QUALITY SILVER CASE. Would not supply them. It has a case back which screws on. The case back has 3 initials J. Which were probably the gentleman’s initials who owned the watch originally. It has, as you would expect light wear. The hunter case cover front shows lots of dings and a crease which is consumerate of’in the field’ wear. The case is fully hall marked for solid silver. The case front is sprung and is operated via a push button on the case side above on lug. This is in operating condition. The hall marks date the watch to 1915 with an Assay mark for LONDON. The solid silver lugs show no evidence of any old repairs that I can see and are in good condition. I have gently polished the case, and it is shining nicely. THE WATCH MEASURES 3.4cms (34mm) across. The inside rear of the front cover is also marked for silver. This stunning collectible watch has a nice original fantastic original white dial. You would expect for a watch of 100 years old that it would have a few hairlines, BUT this dial shows no hairlines that I can see. It has beautiful sharp and crisp Arabic numerals, which are lovely and sharp. The radio active lume that would have been present originally, has been removed for safety purposes. The dial also has a subsidiary dial which is in nice condition. The crystal in the inner bezel is brand new and as such is in minty condition. The dial has stunning blued steel’Cathedral’ hands which have lost their lume but are in very good condition. This is a beautifully finished original Swiss made crown wind and set movement. The movement is in working order and has just been FULLY SERVICED by my watchmaker. It keeps time to with a few minutes per day as tested over 24 hours. The movement has a nice compensated balance. This beautiful and rare wrist watch has a brand new black genuine leather 12mm open ended band fitted which compliments and fits this wristwatch absolutely superbly! . The watch and band measure a total of just over 8 and a half inches in total length. THIS IS A REALLY GOOD VERY COLLECTIBLE EARLY OFFICERS FULL HUNTER TRENCH WATCH. THE WATCH IS A FANTASTIC EXAMPLE OF ITS TYPE. This watch has recently been checked. Please do not waste anyones time if you are not interested. WWII Shin Gunto Katana Japanese Army Officer’s Samurai Sword Antique Seki 1935

Made by a sword smith named Kiyomiya Noguchi (signed) who was a sword smith working in Seki. Kiyomiya Noguchi (real name: Toru Noguchi) worked in Seki around 1935. It is in excellent condition with all it’s original fittings. The blade is excellently polished displaying its beautiful hamon and seems to have been sharpened rarely if ever which can be seen in its well shaped kissaki, as well as having been constantly oiled for its entire life. There are only a couple of tiny surface level rust spots which I have done my best to photograph. The tsuka wrapping is not stained/rotten/frayed. The Saya is not cracked. The details on the tsuba are sharp. And all the fittings, including the leather seppa which are in good condition for their age are present. Overall this is an excellent example of a sword from this period and is well worth adding to a collection weather you are a fan of katana in general or of WWII memorabilia. Here is a recent estate find. This is a Rare Antique 1897 British Infantry Officer’s Sword with Scabbard, Dated 1902, made by the Wilkinson Sword Company England. This came from an Infantry and Corps and Royal Marines Warrant Officer, and has a Very Rare Non Etched Blade, as pictured. The Blade is signed with Several British Markings including “Crown 49 W”. The “W” is for the Wilkinson Sword Company. The Sword Features a Wire Bound Fish Skin Grip, Mounted Onto An All Chequered Back Strap with Ornate Bowl Gaurd Featuring the Royal Cypher of Queen Victoria, with a Nice Aged Patina! The Underside of the Basket is Dated 1902. It is Signed 7 1902 A. This Comes with the Original Black Leather Service Scabbard, as Pictured. The Sword measures approx. 38 5/8″ Long with a 32 1/2″ Blade. The Total Length in the Scabbard is approx. There is Some Wear and Oxidation From Age, Overall Good Original Condition!!! This is a Great Historic Item with a Great Aged Patina!!! Don’t pass this one up, You won’t find one like this again! Super Rare 1852 Very Rare Antique Civil War Sword Officers M1852 Navy USN CSA

1852 Very Rare Antique Civil War Sword Officers M1852 Navy USN CSA. Including an “S” on the throat. With 3 stars over initials E. On the inside of the guard (See Photos). Civil War Non-Regulation Foot Officer’s Sword: Non-regulation Foot Officer’s sword with French Klingenthal blade. The hilt is stamped with the encircled three-star/E. Mark of the importer Delacours & Backe of Paris and the obverse ricasso is stamped with Klingenthal proofs. The ornate gold-plated rococo relief cast non-regulation hilt is identical to the example illustrated on page 422 of “CIVIL WAR ARMY SWORDS” by John H. This is a high quality sword that conforms to the general specifications of the U. Model 1850 Foot Officer’s Sword. Here we have a very rare and not often seen Civil War period Model 1852 US naval officers sword in remarkable field used condition! In 1861 at the beginning of the war, the US Navy was barely a service at all. Both services are know to have used the same regulation sword like this one. But folks fail to realize that there were less than a 1000 Officers at the beginning of the war and that is why this sword is so highly sought after and rare. The blade has darkened from age but all the etching is readable on both sides. The only corrosion is light pitting toward the point from moisture in the scabbard. The grip is shark skin with wire wrap and about 90+% in tact. The brass guard is very nice with original patina that presents nicely! The guard is slightly loose as expected with the obvious field use this sword has had but could easily be tighten by an expert if you choose to restore it. There is an inscription on the spine which may be French maker marks and also proof marks on the ricosso that are probably French as well. But I think the blade was originally made in Germany and sent to France as the etching more closely resembles an American or German pattern. Many swords were imported from France, England and Germany prior to and during the early stages of the war due to short supply. This is a true M1852 non regulation CSA sword with a missing scabbard… Defiantly Rare being manufacture as one of the earliest 1852 USN swords in Europe and exported to America during the civil war.
