The accordion door, when closed, activates a fan and a light. They both turn on automatically, however the fan can be turned off with a switch. Both are in fully functional order. The right side (when facing it) is fully finished, and the left side is finished with a frame only – where an advertisement or bulletin board would go inside. The frame is currently empty. You can see the shortening, vent, and frame damage in the photos. The interior and doors are in fantastic shape – everything works well, moves smoothly, and looks great. We have had it in our home for over 40 years, as a fixture of both our basement recreation area and our family room throughout the decades. It’s a much-loved piece that has always been a favorite of friends and family. We are downsizing and do not have room anymore, so unfortunately need to part with this unique piece.
