I MAKE NO CLAIMS VERIFYING WHAT THIS RELIC ACTUALLY CONTAINS – THERE IS A LABEL, BUT NO DESCRIPTION. THE ACTUAL RELIC IS A FREE GIFT. This is an antique official Catholic Relic of Saint Joseph. The inscription reads S. “, an abbreviation of the Latin “Sanctus Josephus, Sponsus which translates to Saint Joseph, Spouse (of the Virgin Mary). This relic, which what appears to be a piece of cloth, is encased in a small pendant reliquary with a removable back. The back represents the Miraculous Medal and the inscription around the figure translates to “O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee”. This is most likely from the period around the late 19th to the early 20th century. This shows normal signs of age/wear/patina that is appropriate for its age. The original wax seal and threads are perfectly intact. No modifications have been made, thus, preserving its authenticity and significance. Please examine pictures carefully.
