A beautiful vintage / antique flatware service for four from the Santa Fe Railroad. Often, you can find a 4-pc service, but this is a full 6 pc set. Good to very good vintage condition with no damage, just the usual small surface marks and signs of use you would expect from old railroad silver that was regularly used in a dining car. Occasionally a fork tine may be ever so slightly bent, but it is rare. There may be some very small pits or spots of mild tarnish here and there, but all pieces polish up beautifully and by and large present beautifully. Each piece is marked Santa Fe on the back of the handle and some of the knives may be difficult to read due to usage. Albany pattern made by the International Silver Company. These are not sterling silver, but what is referred to as hotel silver or silver plated. Would make a very fine addition to any train / railroad collection or antique silverware / flatware collection or just as an elevated everyday set that has a storied spot in American history.
