The Fragata Espanola 1780 – Rare Find. Mid-20th Century wooden model of an 18th-century Spanish frigate. Vincent, which took place off the southern coast of Portugal on 16 January 1780 during the American Revolutionary War. This is a large, lifelike model with very detailed components (ladders composed from string, carved and stained / painted anchor, wheel, life boat) along with hand-painted motifs and hand-made linen sails and flags. The details are spectacular, and all strings are intact. Very minor wear present, some dust; overall, excellent condition.
