Antique 1.5lb Wooden Dumbbel Set Mt. Hermon School Crosley Hall Student Owned

Excellent pair of wooden dumbbells! Marked as 1.5lbs each, when weighed on my digital scale, they both come up closer to 1lb 3oz or 4oz. So just a tad bit off of marked weight. What makes these special, and unique, are the hand-written markings along both of them. James, it is actually in reference to the private boys school that is/was located in Gill / Northfield, MA. 80 Crosley Hall is also marked upon them, in reference to, i’m sure of, his dormatory room. Also, on the end of one, is a monogram he has invented for mt Hermon school, MHS, letters stacked on top of one another. Well-worn, and look great as a display on any of your shelving etc… These would make an excellent addition to yours or anyone elses collection of sports memorabilia, or, a collection of school/local history etc… If one were residing close-by, as I do… I realize the main campus has been closed for some time now, but, I still believe there to be another building close by that is in use, in regards to being connected to the old mt Hermon school etc… I could be wrong, i’m just not certain if they have down-sized or have permanently closed everything down etc.. Approx 11.5 x 3.5 inches in length/width. From a student who attended this college preparatory / boarding school.

For your consideration today is a freshly restored 1941 Crosley 5 tube antique radio. This is their model 52TTA and it is 13″ long x 8″ tall x 7 deep. The radio is loaded with wonderful colors, and wood grains. The front corners are rounded. The dial face is in excellent condition as is the pointer that functions as required. There is a back dust cover and the radio has a built-in “Loop” Antenna that receives stations very well. There is a new Dial Cover, new AC Power Cord, new Dial Lamp, and new Speaker Cloth. All 5 tubes tested, new Filter/audio capacitors, chassis cleaned, and the remaining components tested/adjusted and replace if needed. The original knobs have been cleaned, polished, and resealed. They are tight to the shafts and function as required. The radio receives stations well across the dial and has plenty of volume + tone + projection. Ships to the continental USA ONLY. Just completed the restoration of this beautiful highly collectable 1945/46 Crosley tube radio. This the popular Crosley model 66 TC. It is 16″ long x 9.75″ tall x 8 deep. The radio’s cabinet is refinished and has wonderful wood grains and colors. The radio has wrap around speaker grills (only one is functional from the factory). Big eye catching dial face with the big winged pointer. The four original knobs have been cleaned, polished, and resealed. The dial face and the pointer are in excellent condition and the pointer works as required. There are two new Dial Lamps, new AC Power Cord, new speaker grill cloth, new dial cover, and new Audio/Filter Capacitors. Chassis cleaned, all tubes tested, and the remainder of the components tested/adjusted and replaced if needed. Speaker provides excellent projection, tones, and clarity. This radio has an Antenna pigtail at the rear of the radio which will require a few feet of wire to be attached for proper reception and performance. Reception and performance will depend on your location, antenna length, and signal strength. Very good player here with no issues. This radio would look wonderful in you office or home on display. Just completed the restoration of this beautiful highly collectable 1941 tube radio. This the Crosley model 53TF. It is 13″ long x 8″ tall x 6.5 deep. The radio’s cabinet is refinished and has wonderful wood grains, colors, and walnut veneers. The radio has rounded top edges, a beautiful top, and pin striping around the entire cabinet. The three original knobs have been cleaned, polished, and resealed. The framed in dial face and pointer are very nice and the pointer works as required. There is a new Dial Cover, new Dial Lamp, new AC Power Cord, and new Audio/Filter Capacitors. Chassis cleaned, 5 tubes tested, and the remainder of the components tested/adjusted and replaced if needed. Speaker provides excellent projection, tones, and clarity. This radio also features a built in “LOOP” Antenna which eliminates the need for an external wire/antenna. Excellent player here with no issues.
