Antique hand made rug from Tibet. Crafted by nomadic people using vegetable dyes and the wool from their sheep. Condition is Used and probably made early 20th Cent to be used as a cushion. This rug was hand carried from Tibet to Chengdu, Sichuan in 2001 by a collector named Hayden Hullah a good friend of my wife and I who would stay with us in Hong Kong in between his travels. We bought several rugs and some jewelry from him before he passed away in 2004. Size is 28 ins x 26 ins and would be a unique wall hanging. This rug was not made in Nepal or India.
