This beautiful Emerson fan is an exquisite example that is over 100 years old. The fan originally worked great, but the plug end fell off and needs rewiring. The fan does have wear from age. The cord has been taped with electrical tape at some point, it may need to be replaced. It looks like it was meant to be bolted down to something. It didn’t oscillate when it did work. Antique 1920s – 30s Leaded Stained Glass Shade BRASS BASE Electric Table Lamp. No cracks chips or damage. The ornate brass base is a heavy metal construction. The shade i believe is not the same era as the base and is more from Mid Century Modern 50s – 60s Era. Lamp is 23″ tall with a 15″ diameter shade. ANTIQUE: EARLY 5 CYLINDER PHONOGRAPH UNMARKED – Brass Top – Piece was found attached as seen in photo and WAS TREADLE POWERED at the time of discovery. You are getting an antique unmarked early 5 cylinder phonograph (not complete as I understand) – that was treadle powered from the late 1800’s. Termites destroyed the table top that the phonograph was sitting on (see photos – showing the wood table top that was there before it had to be removed) – actual photos. It was part of a huge antique find recently that was caught up in legalities between two deceased antique collectors. Please look over all the photos as they are part of the description. The pieces are untampered with and just the way we found them. NOTE: This paragraph may have nothing to do with this item: This is one of the early dictating machines/phonographs of the 1870’s – 1890’s. Not sure what company or person was behind this one since it is unmarked… Edison, Bell, Tainter, Bell? The dictating machines of this time period used tin and wax over the cylinders. Some were also known as shavers, Dictaphones, or Graphophones. Tainter was the first, I believe, to put the phonograph on a sewing machine base and use the treadle to power the phonograph cylinder. This listing is for the top unit only – not the treadle base / sewing machine base that you see in the photos. RARE Antique General Electric GE 1911 KIDNEY Oscillating Fan 16 brass blades

Very beautiful and RARE Antique GENERAL ELECTRIC Oscillating fan with Brass blades and cage. Has a repair on KIDNEY HOUSING WITH epoxy glue. The 1911 GE Kidney fan was GE’s second attempt at an oscillating fan. Due to its use of pot-metal (cast zinc), this fan was likely much less expensive to manufacture than GE’s first oscillator. Unfortunately the use of this material combined with design decisions made this fan a very poor long-term survivor. Nearly any Kidney fan that is available today is either lacking the kidney gearbox or the gearbox is in very poor condition. Despite its materials, a properly restored Kidney fan is a true pleasure to own. The fan shown here in running condition, and very simple to use. Simply switch the lever from “OUT” to “IN” and the oscillation action begins. Tilt is adjusted by pulling the spring-loaded plunger arm on the right side of the fan and moving the fan to your desired position. Will be carefully disassembled, and carefully packed. In very good working condition and complete this is a scarce circa 1915 electric table fan by Menominee Electric Co of Michigan. Brass blades and cage and brass manufacturers tag are excellent. Cast base could use a coat of paint. Been at camp here in the Adirondacks for over 100 years. Actual weight is 15.5 pounds. Youll not soon see another. Antique Emerson 8 Brass Blade Electric fan with Bullwinkle Blades

Antique Emerson 8 Brass Blade Fan. Looks to have all original paint with paint chips and some rust. Fan is in working condition with a rewound motor. Switch appears to have also been rewound. Works on all 3 speeds although I do not notice much noticeable difference. Cage wires are intact and several are loose needing tightening. Cord appears replaced although noticed plug end appears loosely connected and should be properly connected. I have not looked at the new wiring internally to check if soldered or proper end terminal crimping. Overall a great little fan. With a good cleaning and fine tuning would make a great fan. The all SOLID brass casting decoration on the whole clock body is just breath taking. The time shows on 12 individual porcelain numerals. This clock is driven by double weight and it has an 8 day Ansonia brass movement with half hour and hour striking.
