For your consideration is a very rare Japanese DOUBLE Foliot lantern clock, double weight driven with striking, housed in a brass case with engraved flowers, Japanese character time ring with hand center rotating to indicate the time, double foliot escapement movement with striking, driven by double weight, small weight to drive the alarm, both doors on the side opens to reveal the movement, clock strikes on a large domed bell, movement has been cleaned and serviced, good working order, clock measures 14-1/2″ tall and 5-5/8″ wide, if you have any questions, please feel free to let me know. This is an extremely rare collectors anvil. If there is serious interest I might let it go. This is one of the best stamps of this period Hay Budden I have ever come across. Why is this anvil worth so much? The stamp you are looking at is extremely rare few Hay Budden Anvils were ever made with this stamp. This maybe the nicest example of this Stamp still around. Smaller Signature anvils have become increasingly hard to come by. This is a collectors piece just like a coin will be worth more if its rare and in great shape anvils follow the similar rules. Hay Budden is likely the best known of the American Anvil manufactures and set a standard for anvil making others were judged and compared against. In the years of operation they made 100,000s of anvils but very few in comparison survived even fewer still this old and of this size. Hay Budden only made Anvils. Where other manufacturers produced anvils, hand tools & vices for Blacksmiths. THIS IS A FANTASTIC TIME CAPSULE PIECE COMPLETE WITH A LARGE QUANTITY OF PERIOD SEWING FITMENTS AND SCENT BOTTLES AS PICTURED. All original Seth Thomas 8 day parlor calendar No. 1 strike and weight driven. Rosewood case, very nice condition. Very little veneer loss. Original wavy glass, calendar rolls and dials. This is the 1941 Zenith 6 tube radio and it is gorgeous. This is the popular model 6S527 and the size is 15.5″ long x 8.5″ tall x 7.5 deep. The cabinet is in beautiful condition and I just refinished it. There are very nice “faux” designed Walnut veneers along with very nice Maple inlays. A lot of colors and plenty of wood grains throughout. The top of this radio is stunning. The green and black dial face is in excellent condition being framed in and has the popular brass “Z” dial pointer. Additionally, there are 5 Push Buttons that are surrounded by a brass plate with the Zenith name. There are rounded corners and a very nice speaker grill. The three original “Z” Zenith knobs have been cleaned and resealed. A built in factory installed “Loop” antenna receives stations very well across the dial. There is a new dial cover, new dial lamp (2X), new AC Power cord, and new Filter/Audio capacitors installed. The 6 tubes have been tested and the remaining components were checked & replaced if needed. This is a wonderful example of the American Radio Industry waiting for you to display in your favorite place in the home or office. The radio plays and receives stations excellent with the built in “Loop” antenna. There are no issues. The speaker is in excellent condition and has very good volume, tone, and clarity. These models are excellent players and great lookers! Thank you very much for stopping in! Note: The last Push Button MUST be pushed in to allow for Tuning with the Tuning knob.
