Pink Cranberry and White Victorian Shade for Hanging Oil Lamp Light. I believe the shade is hand blown, it has factory tool marks and bubbles and swirl lines all common to antique shades made in the late 1800s. About 6 inches tall and fits a 14 fitter. It is not perfectly shaded which is also common but does fit nicely a 14 fitting. Couple minor chips on larger rim where it would sit on the frame unseen. Antique Victorian Miller Hanging Oil Library Kerosene Parlor Ceiling Lamp Light

Up for sale is a beautiful Victorian kerosene hanging parlor or library ceiling light. The oil font is marked on the bottom with EM & Co and I believe a number. Then this was hand painted by a skilled artisan and the shade and font are matching. There is no pull down mechanism in the top they have the hanging chains attached as pictured. There are 40 hanging crystals around the bottom of the top shade. The glass shade measures 14″ across the bottom and the entire lamp is from the ceiling cover to the bottom of the bracket is approximately 40″. There are no cracks, chips or any other damage to any of the glass. There are a couple of dings on the top of the collar on the oil font. Beautiful Antique Victorian Hanging Cast Iron Horse Lamp. EXCELLENT CONDITION from recent appraisal by The Antique Lamp store in Buffalo, New York. Late Victorian-era circa 1875, American, cast iron, kerosene burning (modified in later years to work with electricity), hanging lamp. Designed to hang on ceiling hook. Support chains loop around pulleys attaching the crown-shaped counter weight, which also holds the 14 opal glass slant shade designed to cast the light downward onto work areas. Lamp commonly referred to as an Iron Horse. Style and mechanics of operational are representational of late 19th century American kerosine lighting. So very Hollywood Regency! Gorgeous hanging swag lamp of amber with dimpled coin dot design, embossed with brass or bronze gold leaf on the outer part of the glass. Pull chain turns this beauty on and off. Appears to have been used very little. Original wiring and socket, works nicely. This is not marked but is very much in the style of Carl Falkenstein lamps and very well may be one since they are not always well marked. It is a real beauty when lit. Particulars: globe is 12″ across and 23″ high from loop to bottom, or 31.5 around. Bead chain at bottom is 8 long. Chain and cord are approximately 105. Takes a 60 watt bulb. Sends great patterns on the wall when lit, really sweet. Our items come from antique stores and auctions, many times we do not know the origin of our lights so some parts may be contemporary while some parts are very antique. Beautiful addition to your mid century modern or Hollywood Regency remodeling project! My parents bought this 25-30 years ago at an upstate New York antiques show. It was never used nor displayed because they couldn’t find the “perfect place” to hang it. It’s been in storage in our attic even since. I do not now the brand or artist. The pink glass is beautifully dimpled. There are slight chips along the bottom edge of the glass globe, but that’s normal wear and tear from actually opening, using, and refilling the oil lamp. It is completely covered up by the metal rim when in use. When the lamp is hanging from the ceiling, the length of the chains measured from the underside of the rim that’s near the ceiling to the top rim of the glass is approximately 16 1/2. The measurement from the underside of the metal plate that’s near the ceiling to the bottom tip of the lamp is approximately 28. If you need any other details, please don’t be afraid to ask! THE LAMP HAS A BEAUTIFUL DETAILED OF ORNATE DRAGONS AND SCROLLING DESIGN THROUGH OUT!! THE HANGING LADDER CHAINS & COPPER SPREADERS LOOK TO BE ORIGINAL AND ARE IN GREAT CONDITION!!
