A lovely old tongs for any antique collector, it will glorify any house. In good condition exactly. Please exam photos for details. This is a lovely item to own or to give as a special gift. Antique wall clock from Germany with striking and pendulum from around 1900. Without a stamp, there is a serial number of the movement, indirectly produced in Germany. The brass dial is original, with a diameter of 14.5 cm. Case: height 96 cm, width 35 cm, thickness 17 cm. The body is made of wood, covered with French polish shellac. Fight with one hammer, hits an hour and half an hour on a spiral. On the case there are decorative stamped brass plates. Very original and beautiful. Look delightful in the interior. The piece is top to bottom sterling silver and has matching serial numbers of 513. Its engraved made in Switzerland with various patent marks, the clock is a 15 Jewell original Dunhill, original to the piece again, its not currently running a will need a service. The lighter will need a new flint and gas etc, its not really bought these days for use, more for decoration and investment. Height:- 4.6cm. Width:- 3.8cm. Depth:- 1.3cm. No restoration or repainting. The orange and yellow colours are still very bright and have not faded much over the years. No significant oxidation or paint loss. The coin mechanism works perfectly. Measures 17.5cm tall, 9cm wide at the base and 5.5cm deep at the base. Weighs 97 grams unpacked. Some minor denting of the metal around the base rim – also back left hand corner. Normal scuffs to the high points you would expect. The tongue has two tiny splits on one side – doesn’t not affect the stability of the tongue but mentioned for accuracy.
