THEY WERE WELL KNOWN IMPORTERS AND RETAILERS OF JAPANESE AND ASIAN LUXURY ITEMS IN. AMERICA DURING LATE 19 CENTURY. THE LAMP IS IN A VERY GOOD ORIGINAL CONDITION WITH SOME WARE TO GILDING AND METAL. THE GLASS ON THE SHADE AND CERAMIC SNAKE-DRAGON BASE HAVE NO CHIPS, CRACKS OR. THE ORIGINAL ROCHESTER BRASS KEROSENE FONT IS IN A GOOD WORKING CONDITION, MISSING 2. CHIMNEY HOLDER PRONGS ON THE BURNER(CAN BE REPLACED OR REPAIRED). THE LAMP IS 27 1/2″ TALL TO THE TOP OF THE 11 1/2″ DIAMETER SHADE. THE METAL FOOT BASE. SPREAD IS 9 1/2 AT THE WIDEST. Circa 1890 Slag glass Gas Lamp converted to electric. This is a large and unique antique, please feel free to message me with any questions, they will be. The patents that were visible date to the 1890’s but this was only on the sockets which were added at a later date than the initial crafting of the lamp , gas lamps that were crafted during that era are known to have not been signed, I have looked for a maker mark without success , but there were particular areas I chose not to venture for fear of the obvious. Note; cleaning this item was a 5 hour project, it had been in storage for 20+ years, no cleaners or buffers were used, only damped rag with warm water and couple drops of Dawn dish-washing liquid, dry clothes , and Q-tips. Up for your consideration is this gorgeous pair of antique Victorian ceramic porcelain floral flowered painted parlor table lamps. Both lamps are in pristine condition with no cracks or chips. The maroon color on both lamps is vibrant & brilliant as well as the floral flower pattern on both lamps is extremely nice looking. The approximate size of each lamp is 17″ high “from bottom base to top of the light fixture” 7-1/2″ in diameter at the widest point & the base of the lamp is approx 5-1/4 in diameter. The harp size is approx 9-1/4″ high not including the tip & approx 5-1/2″ across. Both lamps are a single switch & in good working condition with nice electric cords that can be safely plugged in. There are no lamp shades. What you see is what you will receive. I package very well for a safe arrival. If you have any question please ask & I will promptly answer & as best as I can. THIS IS AN AMAZING 19TH CENTURY LATE VICTORIAN CARVED WOOD CRUCIFIX OR CRUCIFIXION SCENE FROM BAVARIA GERMANY. THIS IS A CARVED WOOD AND POLYCHROMED SCENE WITH ALL THE FIGURES INTACT. IT FEATURES JÉSUS ON THE CROSS AS WELL AS THE VIRGIN MARY , SAINT JAMES AND AN ANGEL AS WELL AS THE FIGURE OF CHRIST IN THE TOMB BELOW. THE ENTIRE SCENE IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH ONLY SOME MINOR DINGS TO THE POLYCHROMING POLYCHROME WHICH IS ORIGINAL AND IN GOOD CONDITION , WITH A NICE WARM AGE COLORING.
