Antique Mira 15.5 inch single comb large mahogany disc music box. The box plays beautifully and all the functions operate flawlessly. The measurements of the box are approximately as follows 26 inches long, 20 inches wide and 14 inches tall. The box is in excellent condition, there are some minor scuffs or marks; overall the condition is excellent. Six 15.5 inch discs are included in the sale. This music box plays 12 inch discs. The box plays beautifully and it is in excellent condition. There are some very minor marks here or there on the box but overall the condition is excellent. All teeth are present on the combs. I have never seen a Mira 12 box in as good aesthetic condition as this one outside of a museum. One 12 disc is included in the sale. Welcome to Antiques & Moore! THIS LISTING IS FOR A GORGEOUS LARGE ANTIQUE VICTORIAN PERIOD 10-TUNE CYLINDER ROLL MUSIC BOX WITH BEAUTIFUL INLAID DECORATION AND EBONIZED TRIM, c. This stunning music box has its original works encased in a lovely cabinet with inlaid design. The lid and front are decorated with a matching marquetry inlaid classical design of three instruments (harp, flute and horn) and sheet music surrounded by flower spray and foliage. The sides of the case are Rosewood with the top and base having ebonized trim and feet. Brass key hole on front, no key. The lithographed paper inside the lid lists 10 musical compositions with their composer’s name. This lovely music box has a wonderful sound although there is one missing tip (tooth) on the comb. The paper music sheet on interior of lid does have wear on the edges and corners and a tear, however, it is original to the box. Measures 7 3/8″ high, 24 1/2″ long and 10 1/4 deep. The case is in very nice condition although there is one small area on the upper right front corner with slight damage which does not show when lid is closed and one of the round ebonized feet has a rubbed area (see photos). No other noted damage or flaws. These minor flaws are consistent with normal wear and the age of the item. Antique REGINA Music Box. Vintage, Collectible 1800’s Music Box. Measures about 19-1/2″ deep by 21-3/4″ across and 12 high. Please note the side-to-side split in the top cover. It does not affect the structure nor opening/closing of the lid. Detracts little from the appearance/finish of this beautiful antique music box. Includes 4 discs, however, may not include exact discs in photo. Please let us know if you need more discs. We have many discs ranging in condition from fair to excellent. Does not include key for lock (in front panel). Pull the playing lever up and place the disc on the spindle, with disc ends above, not under, the side roller guides. Turn the crank handle a few turns until the record starts turning and enjoy the tinkling tones of another generation. Parlor music of the late 1800’s. A trip back to a time when music makes you feel good! Please note: Listing does not include the music-box stand displayed in some photos. This stand has a drawer for discs, or records, it is wide enough for the discs, but it is about 15″ in depth and does not quite hold the 15.5″ inch diameter Regina discs to enable the drawer to close. ANTIQUE POLYPHON SINGLE COMB 15.5 DISC MUSIC BOX GREAT COND PLAYS BEAUTIFULLY! Listed here is an antique Polyphon 15.5 inch disc single comb music box. The music box is in very nice condition with only minor signs of wear. Some minor nicks and scuffing here and there but overall the condition is excellent. There is one tooth missing on the comb but all the other teeth are perfect. This music box plays beautifully. Ten 15.5 discs will be included in the sale. The stand the music box is pictured on is not for sale with this box only the polyphon box is for sale in this listing, i just used the stand to take pictures of the box. Antique 1800’s Paillard Vaucher Fils Swiss 7805 5 Cylinder 30 Tune Music Box. For sale is the very nice antique music box in nice working order. This was identified as a. Paillard Vaucher Fils of Geneva Soprano music box. All teeth are present on the comb. Has 30 tunes, 6 each on 5 interchangeable cylinders. Music box is quite large, approx 30″ x 18″ x 12.5. A very nice music box with intricate wood inlay on the top and strong metal handles on the side. I do not have the key for the locks and the lid has a small gap on one corner when closed (see last photo). Overall a very beautiful looking and sounding music box. Super Antique Regina 15.5 Double Comb Disc Music Box Oak Cabinet with Discs. This is just how you want to find them. We acquired this antique Regina disc music box at a recent estate sale. This machine plays 15.5 metal tune-sheets (discs) and features double combs in perfect condition creating an amazing sound. The double combs produce a more full and rich room filling sound compared to machines with single combs and are definitely worth the extra cost. This is a top quality machine and was originally protected by 22 patents with the latest Nov. The Regina Music Box Co. Was founded in 1889 in Leipzig, Germany and shortly thereafter was moved to the United States due to the high cost of importing. It was considered to be America’s finest music box maker with annual sales at the turn of the last century of about 2 million dollars per year when the average worker only made a few dollars a week. Condition is everything when purchasing a music box and this music box is in great mechanical condition, plays perfectly and sounds amazing. The oak cabinet has a beautiful finish and is in excellent condition. It measures 22 1/4″ x 22″ x 12 1/2 tall. There is a small area on the back of the cabinet below the lid that appears to have a slight repair (see last photo). Considering the large number of these music boxes that were made, only a few survive and many are not in very good condition. This is a special piece in top condition that you will cherish so don’t miss this opportunity to own and enjoy this wonderful piece of music history. Eleven song discs are included.
