Vintage old wood antique tube radio ZENITH model 6S527 Super nice

I just refinished this 1941 antique Zenith tube radio and it is very pretty. This is the popular Zenith mdl 6S527. It is 15.25″ long x 8.5″ tall x 7.25 deep. The cabinet is in excellent condition being that it has been refinished. There are beautiful wood grains and colors throughout the entire cabinet accented by the dark Walnut inlays. A super nice top with different grains and tones really catch your eye. The dial face is framed in and displays the large Zenith “Z” pointer. There are rounded corners and a big speaker grill. The three “Z” knobs have been cleaned and resealed. A built in factory installed “Loop” antenna receives stations very well across the dial. There are 5 functional push buttons as well and the brass housing around the buttons has been polished and resealed. There is a new dial cover, new dial lamps (2x), new AC Power cord, and new Filter/Audio capacitors installed. The tubes have been tested and the remaining components checked & replaced if needed. This is a wonderful example of the American Radio Industry waiting for you to display in your favorite place in the home or office. The radio plays and receives stations very well. There are no issues. The speaker is in excellent condition and has very good volume, tone, and clarity. Thank you very much for stopping in! Victor Model 5 Phonograph. Condition is everything when it comes to antiques, therefore it is highly unlikely you will find a Victor Model 5 in such pristine condition. Produced in 1908, few survived in such condition. As seen, this phonograph has the original finish, and there are no dents scratches, no missing veneer or mechanical motor damage. The phonograph will play 12 – 78 rpm records powered by a spring motor. Just as today, technology was changing rapidly from Edisons wax cylinder recordings to the newer Edison 1/4 flat Diamond style records. Even with all the inventions Edison created, it was the thinner lighter weight records that took up less room that became the standard of the industry thanks to RCA who bought out Victors designs when they were going bankrupted. Antique Zenith Tombstone Wood Case Tube Radio Model 10-S-130. Overall, an excellent original example. The radio plays well, but has not been restored. The bullseye tuning reacts to a strong signal. About 3-1/2 hrs to St Louis and Kansas City. Little over an hour to Branson Missouri. The thought of me sitting this on the counter and having someone ask me if it is fragile is a little bit worrysome to me. But here is what I will offer. Any claims for any reimbursements for damage or operational failure will be between you and the UPS. Also, note that there is not a Greyhound hub locally so UPS Store is the only option. This one has the ornate brass base. The finish is not perfect, but it is in great condition. Please review the pictures and ask any questions you may have. It could use a good cleaning but looks great just the way it is. I have pressed several of the dollar/cent buttons and spun the crank and everything seems to work as it should.
