Large ANTIQUE German SANTA papermache candy container, labeled c. 1890 very good

WONDERFUL, original ANTIQUE German, c. 1890 , large SANTA papiermache (paper mache) candy container, all original, without repairs and in generally very good condition. He measure measures about, 10 12 high with removable head and torso half for storage of candies and gifts. The bottom half is weighted with his nicely detailed (although chipped) black boots which still bear the round: Made in Germany, blue label. On his back SANTA CLAUS carries his original large red, crepe paper bag and the original green paper “feather” tree with red berry. This attractive figure of St. Has realistically molded and painted features including thick eyebrows, blue eyes and painted wrinkles as well as a rabbit fur beard, mustache and hair beneath his dark red jacket with white trim, red stocking cap with matching white trim, BLUE trousers and black belt. What a FANTASTIC piece of Christmas tradition, treasured and well preserved. He can stand alone but is best supported with a stand and his boots would benefit from a bit of repair. He has had no repairs or repaint and has no odors and is from a smoke free home. Other items shown are not included and each listed separately. Up for sale is an antique German Vienna regulator wall Clock. This one is by Junghans. The clock features a carved wooden case with finials and a top ornament. The brass pendulum is not original. We found a gong in the case. It appears that it will require re-attachment. A tag attached indicated that the movement was serviced last in 2007. The movement did wind properly and ran when tested however. This item is part of an inherited estate. We are not clock experts. Round wooden dial with Roman numerals, cuckoo aperture, 8-day carved oak and pine mantel clock of Black Forest type, circa 1900, with architectural gothic case, the eight. Day two-train fusee movement with. Twin bellows and cuckoo automaton. The German movement has wooden plates complete with original pendulum and a Key provided. The case is free from woodworm with original patina and finish, missing the cuckoo’s door and rear gong/hammer. Steinbach Merlin the Magician 18 German Nutcracker S610. Very LOW numbered limited edition #26 out of 7200 ever produced. This means it was one the earliest ones and highly desirable! Introduced in 1991 and was the first and the rarest from the Camelot Series. This nutcracker is one of the most coveted ones amongst collectors. Original hand tag and sticker on the base still attached. Original box not included. Condition: Only noticeable flaws are the few moons / stars that are missing from the hat and some gold paint loss on one of the belt’s balls. Measures approximately 17-1/2″ – 18″ tall. Composite face and hands, blue composite pants, black composite boots, rabbit fur hair and beard with original’tree’ sprig. Made in Germany sticker on foot. See photos for details. Some small holes on lower half under the’rim’. Looks to have been repaired previously. Only viewable when disassembled. Small hairline on left leg.
