Beautifully original Colnago Master Framset circa 1991, 54cms. Ex-team Ceramiche Ariostea frameset (Italian professional team 84-93). Full period correct groupo + wheelset assembly. Pantographed Campagnolo groupset including Delta brakes. Cinelli alloy bar and vintage 3TTT stem with Colnago pantograph. New cork bar tape. Comes with framed team photo and signed Rolf Golz cyclist card and team jersey. About the Colnago Master. The most winning bicycle of the cycling history, the Colnago Master was first released in 1984, the same year in which Giuseppe Saronni won the Giro d’Italia riding a Colnago Master indeed. With this model Colnago achieved the peak of its steel frame manufacturing, but on the other hand, the Master also represents the end of the steel era in the bicycle industry (the first Colnago carbon prototype dates back to 1987). The frame is made of “Columbus-Gilco Design – Profilo S4″ tubes. Very light and stiff, this tubing set has profiled sections and was designed by Gilberto Colombo to improve the comfort and to better withstand the mechanical strain. Antique Leicester Circular Sock knitting Machine in good condition. This is one of only five known remaining examples of this machine and is considered a rare and collectable item. Made in Leicester England in the 1800’s this machine is marked throughout with the N0.473 part matched in the factory. Includes: Machine and ribber arm. 2 cylinders: 60 and 84 slot. 3 ribber dials: 28,30, and 48 slot. There are 84 latch needles for the cylinder plus a few spares. 42 needles for the ribber will need some attention. 2 sets of weights. 2 decorated cast iron needle trays. 1 Bobbin that has been repaired, though it works out helpful for catching the thread to start the winding of yarn.
