1920’s – 1930’s SINGER Sewing Machine Base. Three quarters, 3/4 Size for SINGER 99, 28, 128, VS-3. Amazing Condition for the age!! Includes: – SINGER 3/4 Size base. SINGER base extension board. The SINGER sewing machine is depicted for illustration purpose and is not included for sale. As weather conditions (temperature, humidity etc) will play a role too. The photos belong to bases restored in the past. The actual base you’ll get will have some differences due to the fact that wood grain never the same but also because of the fact that SINGER cases were hand made and produced in many factories around the world. So no case is the same with an other one. And if in doubt we can always cancel the sale. An extremely well preserved SINGER base which has been: -Restored to its Original Condition Using Techniques that were used at the time by SINGER. All maintenance & restoration done by 3FTERS Athens always adhering to their strict restoration program guidelines! This base will fit SINGER Vintage Sewing Machines models like: 99k VS-3 28 128 and all Vintage Sewing Machines with a “3/4 3 quarters” base. Meaning the machine base should measure in inches: 12.16″ x 6.56″ in inches or 30.9cm x 16.66cm in centimeters Will be lovingly packed and delivered to new owner by post/courier, or can be collected for free. We know vast majority of people dont really differentiate the two terms nowadays but there is actually a huge difference between them. The difference between restore and refurbish is that restore is to reestablish, or bring back into existence while refurbish is to rebuild or replenish with all new material. Since many people still keep asking questions about whether those items we list are repainted, with new stickers etc, we feel the need to clarify things. All items we list as restored are almost 100% originals , nothing new put on them other than oil & grease, rubber o-rings (tires), rubber / felt feet, and motor / treadle belts, depending on the model. If a part is missing or damaged and we can’t repair it, we’ll replace it with one from a donor machine of the same era. Never a newer or a new one. Those items are certainly repainted as many think, nor have we put new stickers / decals which would then label them as renovated or “refurbished”. Everything was set in the factory back then. Motor sets may have a new plug and leads but coils and internals would be vintage and serviced. Lamps will be new. Always have in mind the time to restore an item, is many times the time needed to refurbish a same one. And although it is much, much more time consuming, we prefer this approach which preserves the authenticity and history of an item rather than just making it eye appealing but strip it from it’s history and identity. Growing up in Athens, Greece watching the archeologists, since we were kids, painstakingly removing layer after layer of debris and foreign matter from the ancient finds in open dig sites the size of football fields using nothing more than small brushes the size of a toothbrush and small hand tools along with tons and tons of patience and sunscreen may have contributed in our later days attitude towards items of historic significance ;- Or at least we like to think so :. 5 tube 2 band chassis. Description: Here’s a great tombstone. Candidate for a restoration. Tested, Powers up but does not play. No further testing was done. Dial string intact, smooth dials. The chassis has surface corrosion starting and will need to be treated. Speaker is in good condition, No tears. The original bakelite knobs are there. Decals inside cabinet are still readable. Japy Freres Gilt Bronze Ormolu Mounted and Alabaster Antique French Mantle Clock
Japy Freres Dore’ Gilt Bronze and Alabaster Antique French Mantle Clock circa 1860’s. A Beautiful Antique French Japy Freres figural cherub ormolu (finely gilded bronze) mounted mantel clock completed with white alabaster case. Has a Japy Freres movement number 5331 EB 4 1. The exceptional case with ormulu mounts, figural motifs and floral swags. The movement by Japy Freres is of high quality and is in excellent, clean and running condition. Clock strikes on the hour and half hour on a bell. Beautiful, clean and bright ormolu with only slight discoloration on top mount. Complete with original pendulum and bell. This clock measures 14.5″ high by 11″wide and a depth of 4 1/4. The clock face is missing the Roman Numeral 7 (VII). Otherwise in excellent condition. Wagner ware 1508 baking pan I dont find any heavy pitting , piece sits flat on a granite counter (no wobble). The inside has some uneven spots. This was sent thru a self clean cycle in oven , then wiped down with veg. A great piece for a restoration. OMG Old Vintage Italian Tole Topiary TABLE LAMP Flowers Leaves Hollywood Regency
This is a nice statement making size that is older and of good quality. I believe everything is original, 3 way switch socket and on/off switch on cord. It has beautiful flowers and foliage, the old paint in gorgeous colors that is chippy and shows pitting and rust and time worn for a great patina. It is in working order, but I advise having all vintage lighting checked out by a qualified person. The entire piece is metal, even the base. Perfect in your home in your shabby chic, French country, Paris Apt or romantic cottage decor. 53″ tall (from base to top of finial), from the base to top of light socket 42.25″ by 12″ wide at widest point, and 6 1/2″ wide at the base. Heavy weight (will not tip over). Lamp Tested and Confirmed In Working Condition. Condition: Vintage original condition, works great, age rust on metal, have not tried to remove the rust / pitting, heavy quality lamp. This lamp would make a lovely addition to a collection or home.
