RARE Antique 1890s Smith Premier No1 Manual Typewriter Up Strike 76 Keys Nice

This offering is for an antique original, Ca 1890’s, Smith Premier No. The machine features very fancy silver colored foliate panels on the sides and back including those that read SMITH PREMIER NO. The machine design has 76 keys for a double alphabet set of large and small case letters. Note the bottom piece of the # rod is broken. This machine is also marked “THE SMITH PREMIER TYPEWRITER” in front of the platen. PLEASE NOTE, the typewriter is not currently working. The carriage is movable by hand and the keys do slowly move but it is in definite need of a deep thorough cleaning and proper lubrication. There is an old dry ribbon on the left hand spool but I doubt it’s usable. The interior surfaces appear to have a light coating of surface grime and dry previous oils. The black paint on the case is pretty nice but does have scattered wear as seen in our photo’s. Over all a great display piece and addition to any typewriter collection. Antique Gamewell 15 Feather Top Cherry Wood Cased Fire Alarm Gong

Offered is this very nice Gamewell fire alarm gong. This gong has a 15 bell and is made out of cherry. The gong is in very good condition with some normal cracking to the wood joints as seen in the photos. The original mechanism was removed and replaced with a single striking mechanism. The glass is painted in gold leaf Fire Co No 1, which could easily be stripped and removed from the glass. The door lock is intact, and a key is included. The fig leaf and rosettes are all original as is the bell and the nut. The gong is overall 32 from the top of the fig leaf to the bottom of the case. A very fine and hard to find gong! With a little research one could find an original mechanism and install it and have a complete gong. D U E TO SEVERAL QUESTIONS THE LAST PHOTO WAS ADDED TO SHOW SIZE COMPARISON WITH AN 8FEATHER TOP GONG. Do a search “1941 Vintage Colson Bullnose Cruiser Bicycle Deluxe Tank Bike”. Antique Bicycle Colson Corporation. It is desireably rare vintage bike. Colson built bikes for Firestone. Colson Corporation is on the badge. Tire size is 26 X 2.125. I could not identify exactly this bike model but there are a lot of similar models. Imperial, Bullnose, flyer, Firestone Super Cruiser, Evans Commander, Clipper. Please let me know if you know what model this is. I do have a newer spring wide seat/saddle and vintage Schwinn peddles. I do not have the handlebars but looking for suitable handle bars. This bike was manufactured in Elyria Ohio. The Bike was found in an antique store as is. This is an Antique / Vintage 1935 Art Deco Shyvers Multiphone Jukebox Table Top Music Selector. Measures 18 inches tall… 1414 on the top… Colored Glass Jewel Lights in Good Condition… A very beautiful Art Deco design and a very unique device. The Shyvers Multiphone, released in 1935 by Kenneth C. Shyvers, was an interesting idea as a coin-operated phonograph (also known as a jukebox). It allowed patrons at restaurants, cafes and bars to play music at their table, and worked through telephone lines. This unit has no self contained music. The user inserted the necessary amount of coins, and was connected to a team of all-female disc jockeys in Seattle, who manually put on the selected song on a phonograph, playing the music through the telephone connection. Included with this example is a photograph of the lady DJs , instructions , a Shyvers Spinner Token , and key to the lock.
