Antique HAY BUDDEN anvil dated 1914 by the serial No. 216304 stamped on the front of the base. The anvil is 18″ total length with an 11″ Face, a 1 3/4″ Table and a 5 1/4″ Horn. There is a 1″ hardy and a 1/2″ pritchel The base measures 7″ x 6″ and the tool stands 8″ tall, the inspectors mark “0 is clear below the horn. As with most Hay Buddens the strike is light but it can be read.. Check the photos for a good look at this old workhorse.
