Vintage antique Victor V 5 phonograph with spearpoint horn all original Nice

This is a Victor V phonograph with oak spearpoint horn thats all original. I got this from the direct descendants from Baldwin NY estate 22 years ago. Its now time for someone else to take care of it. Condition is extremely solid with no cracks, chips, or separations. Incredible condition for a machine thats over 100 years old. Still has the original felt which has no wear marks. Original feet are still present. Plays strong and loud. I just noticed that the reproducer is not original but I have the proper one in its original box as shown in the last pic. You will receive both reproducers. Horn is nice and rigid as is the case. Few small issues are a few dents in the elbow and the brake pad is missing, but you can get that online. Pictures tell the story and ask questions before I box it up. You are encouraged to pick this item up. There was some concern about a crack in the horn. These digital photos can be tricky. If you look at the 3rd pic you can see a white scuff mark, just underneath that it appears to be a chip or crack in the veneer. I re-photographed the area as shown in the last two pics. All appears fine except for some tiny flaking of the finish in the gullies of the horn as shown. If you live locally, your welcome to inspect the phonograph. I would also accept 3K even. Old Antique High Back Loop Seat Cowgirl Horse Saddle by Victor Marden

This is a really rare Cowgirl Saddle made by Victor Marden of the Dalles, Ore. It was made between 1900–1915 when he had his business in the Dalles. Seat–see photo–the skirt length is 23 in. Loop seat style and padded seat area–5-1/2 in. High cantle–lace up stirrup leathers that even look original. It has a scraped repaired horn–the rawhide binding on pommel and cantle are worn in places. I would say it has original stirrups as the leather tread is worn through to the wood that also shows wear–keep in mind this saddle is 100 plus years old and has had use so you will see wear and possibly something I did not find that important to list. It has a solid rawhide covered tree and sheepskin is pretty much gone. Strings look to have been replaced at some point in time–the leather is clean and supple. If you are a collector of cowgirl or early saddles this is for sure a really nice cowgirl collectible. Signed by the famous “Victor Talking Machine Co, ” a Victrola phonograph Model VVXVI has a quarter sawn oak case, made in 1913, according to the serial number. The restored finish is in excellent condition, there is a delamination on the right side under the crank that is stable. The original Nipper dog with “His Master’s Voice” decal is under the lid. This antique wind up record player works very well and has strong volume, adjustable with soft (two doors closed), medium (one door open) and loud (2 doors open). There are on/off and speed controls, gold plated mounts are original on this superior quality large model. Several albums of records are included as shown. Here’s a great example of an early Victor tabletop phonograph, made c. This was the first Victor to be equipped with a 12 turntable. It was the predecessor to the Victor V, and certainly a better-looking cabinet design. The solid, quarter-sawed oak cabinet measures 14″ x 14″ x 7 high and is fitted with decorative corner posts. Fitted with a large 3-spring motor, 12 turntable, and a professionally rebuilt Exhibition reproducer. This has been thoroughly, professionally restored on a no-expense saved basis. Reproducer has been rebuilt, every metal surface has been re-plated, the case refinished, etc. The brass bell horn, measuring 16.5″ diameter and 24″ long, has been refinished, and looks just great. Antique LEONARD VICTOR BAILEY #5 PLANE Vintage Old Handplane Hand Tool #191

Vintage hand tools – hand plane #191. Up for sale is fantastic & scarce Genuine VICTOR BAILEY #5 JACK PLANE, 345mm long. Leonard Bailey was the inventor of the “Stanley” plane as we know it, in 1869 the Stanley Rule & Level Co bought 7 of Leonard Bailey’s patent designs, their relationship continued up until 1875, they ended up in court over a patent dispute (Stanley eventually won the case), in 1878 Leonard went to work with a Mr Selden Bailey (no relation) & produced the Defiance & Victor Bailey lines of planes, Stanley bought both of them out in the 1880s & closed production of both by 1888 to focus on their own lines. Arguably one of the best looking bench planes with their ornate metal handles & knobs, they are comfortable to hold & use. This plane is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age and use, wear to the sole & sides, some pitting to the base & some dents on the heel & a previous owners mark stamped into the side plus some other marks, some japanning loss, an authentic & rare survivor from design genius Leonard Bailey.
