LATE 19 CENTURY EUROPEAN NOUVEAU THEME OF “AMICITIA-VINCIT HORAS” – “LOVE PREVAILS OVER TIME” IS OVERPOWERING WITH LIFE LIKE FIGURES OF A MAN AND A WOMAN. THE CLOCK HAS AN ORIGINAL H&H FRENCH MOVEMENT (SIGNED MADE IN FRANCE), IT IS IN A VERY GOOD WORKING CONDITION. THE SCULPTURED CASE HAS ORIGINAL GLAZED FINISH WITH SOME PROFESSIONAL TOUCH UP REPAIRS. MEASUREMENTS ARE: 24″ OVERALL LENGTH BY 20 1/2″ HEIGHT, WITH 6 1/2 OVERALL DEPTH. Our unique collection of American “gone with the wind” lamps took many years to form. The ever collectible and desirable sunflower light fixture! A 1930s staple in a nice dining room or bedroom, this beauty features a shade of clear and ivory satin glass floral and sunflower design, metal (ivory painted steel) holder with key hole slots to hold the shade, glass inserts on the rod, steel loop and single chain attached to a steel ivory painted canopy. New socket and wiring, works perfectly. Socket will take a 100 watt bulb, or more using an LED bulb. Fixture measures 20″ drop, 15″ across the shade. Includes all mounting hardware, ready to install when received. Our items come from antique stores and auctions, many times we do not know the origin of our lights so some parts may be contemporary while some parts are very antique. Antique Rainaud Bent Panel Slag Glass Lamp c. 1910 Signed Art Nouveau Handel. Antique Rainaud Bent Panel Slag Glass Lamp, circa 1910. We feature a growing selection of Oriental, Chinese and Ethnic antiques. FREE PICK-UP IN THE CHICAGOLAND AREA. Up for your consideration is a fine signed Rainaud slag glass lamp, in the Art Nouveau style, c. The lamp has caramel slag glass panels, that are bent outward near the bottom perimeter, which features an original painted filigree in green and red. The lamp base is signed “Rainaud”, and the lamp shade (and all other parts) are original to the lamp. It has been professionally rewired with a cloth cord, and is ready for immediate use. The piece is 17.5″ in diameter and 8″ tall, the base is 23 tall from base to finial. Overall, the lamp is in excellent condition. The shade is free of cracks, chips, restorations, or missing filigree. The base is complete, intact, and stands straight, but has lost much of its original polychrome decoration (paint). This features a shade of clear and ivory satin glass with floral design around the wide edge, bottom has a floral pattern, antique brass and glass ball finial, glass inserts on the rod, new antique brass canopy, new 3 cluster socket and wiring, works perfectly. Sockets will take 60 watt bulbs each, so this can put out 180 watts if needed, or more using LED bulbs. You will probably need to use a smaller profile chandelier flame style bulb as shown, these can be found in any store that sells bulbs. Fixture measures 13″ drop, 10″ across the shade. Up for your consideration is a large & very fine antique American slag glass lamp with a frosted caramel shade with hand-painted features, c. It has a beautiful gilt mixed-metal base with a 24 cord. The piece measures 23″ tall, 10″ wide, and 10 deep (at the base). The shade measures 21 in diameter. Overall, the piece is in excellent condition, free of chips, cracks, or damage to the glass panels or filigree. The base retains its original gilt patina, which shows only very minor wear. Great size on this slag glass lamp with bronze patina. 24 inches tall x 21 inch wide shade. Slag shades have a textured surface with a reverse painted/printed pattern – which is very unusual. Great color and design. Base is in good condition, we suggest rewiring. Clips that hold the shades in place are missing on most spaces, so when photographed we used tape to hold panels in place. There’s are also two breaks in the outer shade rim, see photos. It is still structurally sound because it is s very well made shade. There is a (original to the piece)thick wire welded to the outer underside rim of the shade for support. There is tape residue on the underside of shades that should be removed. We photographed the lamps underside with the blue tape I used to hold the shades in place for the photograph. See partial pic of blue tape. Fine detail from the base to the rim of the shade with the curly wave like design… The finial is also interesting, like an urn. Antique Art Nouveau Bronze Sculptural Patinated Desk Clock withWoman Figure c. 1900

Antique Art Nouveau Patinated Bronze Desk Clock with Woman Figure c. The body of the clock is decorated with floral motifs designed in very special Art Nouveau manner. These so-called “whiplash” elements were the most exclusive and typical Art Nouveau characteristics. The main part of decoration, however, i s a beatifully scupltured figure of a woman with free-flowing hair and dress. Very elegant and stylish work of art! The clock is made of solid cast bronze and patinated to a beautiful color. The body is in a very good shape with only minimal wear and no damage. Clock is housed in a metal canister set into opening having a porcelain dial. The body is marked on base at rear: “F7″ and “1159” – I don’t know how to interpret these marks. The mechanizm is not functional – I don’t know if it just requires cleaning or else. Please note – this is not a replica or fake – the is the real object from 1900 – 1910. I guarantee my dating.
