Fine antique Native American Indian CROW PIPE TOMAHAWK. Circa – 1800’S. The TOMAHAWK is in great CONDITION. (See my other listings). Dates from around 1800’s according to previous owner. English made trade tomahawk inlaid with diamond shaped brass decoration. There is also “TRIANGLE” makers / proof mark on the blade – hard to make out , rusty. A truly spectacular TOMAHAWK. THE WOODEN SHAFT IS REPLACEMENT. Hard as hell to find in this kind of condition. It is a super nice piece. The TOMAHAWK – 8″ long , 2″ wide at the blade. Kept on display for the last 60+ years. PERFECT FOR FOR YOUR COLLECTION. Hard to find such quality native artifacts. This is Antique Sioux Native American Pipe Tomahawk. The war club tomahawk features an exceptional hand-forged iron head. The piece shows a truly fine high-quality craftsmanship. The head exhibits a fine rich deep patina evenly over the entire surface. The original haft is constructed from carved hard wood and brass tacks. The entire surface of the wood shows a nice deep patina. This war club tomahawk was obtained from Dr. Haft Length – 22.00 in. Blade – 8.75 in. The war club tomahawk features an exceptional hand-forged iron head with bat-wing cut-out and leather beaded drop. The head exhibits a fine rich deep patina evenly over the entire surface. The original haft is constructed from carved hard wood and brass tacks. The entire surface of the wood shows a nice deep patina. Haft Length – 25.5 in. Blade – 12.0 in. AUTHENTIC ANCIENT ANTIQUE NATIVE AMERICAN INDIAN STONE HEAD TOMAHAWK AXE HATCHET. The beautiful original and authentic Native American Indian stone head tomahawk was found at the estate of an elderly antiques and ancient artifacts collector. He and his wife had amassed a large collection of pre-1600 fine antiques, mainly consisting of Native American Indian artifacts, brass candlesticks, fine art and American War related items and artifacts, among other things. This piece is either a local Seneca County Iroquois Indian artifact, or may be Navajo or Apache as the bulk of the large collection was made up of artifacts from these three tribes. Provenance: Private Collection, Ontario County, New York, USA. Measures approximately 17 1/2″ tall by 5 3/4″ long by 2 thick. Condition: Great overall condition. 100% original, authentic and unrestored. There is a break in the wood on the underside of the tomahawk where it wraps around and reconnects to the handle (see pics) however it still holds the stone axe head fairly firmly in place. Would make an excellent display piece from one side as is, or fully restore to show off both sides. No other chips, breaks or other damage of any kind to the stone axe head. The wood handle has preserved very well and is very hard and solid. Thanks for looking at my online estate sale finds!
