Antique German Silver Grapes Kugel Christmas Ornament

This authentic silver kugel glass Christmas ornament was made in Germany in the late 1800s. Rather than the standard round ball, it’s in the harder to find, uncommon oval grape cluster form, measuring 3-1/4 inches long by a little over 2 inches wide. The kugel has loss of the inner mercury silvering, causing a whitish coloring with the top shoulder having some transparency. The glass has no damage and I don’t see any bubbles in the heavy glass. The brass cap is the baroque 5 swirl with balls style. It has some verdigris but the cap is tight with no sliding. See my other listings for hundreds of antique and vintage Christmas items. Vintage/Antique ZENITH 7H820-U Bakelite Tube Radio Working. The radio is in very good vintage working condition. I could not pick anything up on the FM 45 band. Similar to the one that was used in the movie War of the Worlds. Approximate Dimensions (WHD): 15 1/4″ X 9″ x 8. My dad used to work on old radio’s and TV’s and this is one of the radio’s. I myself know nothing about old radios so will be leaving everything up to you. As I cannot give a more accurate description, I have included lots of pictures and a video. The back of the case is correctly MARKED 6B/159 with the broad arrow and is numbered 8467/42. The case itself is in VERY GOOD original condition showing only light wear! There are only a few very light marks to the case back and the case side shows a mark where the back has been opened using a watch tool. The watch measures 3.2cms (32mm) In diameter, excluding the crown. This is a stunning and beautiful QUALITY original BRITISH RAF PILOTS watch case. This is an absolutely lovely, minty and most importantly totally original fully signed military BRITISH RAF dial. The dial is in original condition and has not been retouched. It shows light spotting and a light original patina. The dial is signed “EBEL” in BLACK painted lettering with the wording underneath’Swiss’ on the bottom of the dial. It has black painted Arabic numeral which have lightly faded in places, bordered by a BLACK recording minute track which is in good original condition. The beautiful BLUED STEEL NEEDLE POINTER minute and blued steel spade hour hands are in excellent condition. The centre second hand is highlighted in RED and may be a replacement. The crystal is the only new addition and as it is new it is in excellent condition. This is a lovely clean and absolutely genuine EBEL CAL 101 15 jewel manual wind centre second movement. It has a beautiful finish and is FULLY signed on the mainspring barrel wheel in a beautiful typesetting, showing its true EBEL roots. It is numbered as it should be. This watch has been SERVICED at considerable cost. The watch is keeping good time as tested over a 12 hour period. The stainless original crown may be a later addition to the watch, and is in excellent condition showing hardly any wear. This fabulous EBEL BRITISH RAF PILOTS wrist watch has been fitted with a brand new black leather 18mm band. The band has a white metal buckle. I bought this machine from the Coca-Cola Company out-the-back-door in the early 70s – i. I have owned it for over 45 years. It was RETIRED by them as the Vending Mechanism couldnt be raised above 10 Cents. It then spent several years in storage. My Grandkids got me motivated to Rehab it. I had the Front and Both Sides professionally painted by a buddy of mine, who owns a Paint & Body Shop. So, the finish is Car Quality including Clear Coat i. Should last for years to come. All machines of this age have some rust. He also sealed the rust he saw. Inside the cabinet with a rust inhibitor. It also has a new Main Door Gasket. Cooling Unit is Original Kelvinator 1951. Your MAN CAVE needs this machine. I even taught them how to pour a package of TOMs ROASTED PEANUTS in the top. Antique French Saint Crown Tiara. Pink & Green Facet Cut Glass Jewels. Made in France during the 19th Century, the crown is set with facet cut glass jewels representing: 19 pink tourmalines; 21 emeralds; 3 rubies; and dozens of rhinestone. Detailed with gilded brass flowers and leaves, the adjustable headband has 14 notches to adjust the size. The previous owner frequently wore the tiara to gala formal events. MEASUREMENTS: The tiara is 6 inches in diameter as shown with plenty of room for expansion. The decorated area is 12 inches long and 4 inches at the highest point. Weighs 8.2 ounces. CONDITION: Very good estate condition. No missing stones or parts. It has some typical verdigris from age and a repair to the backside of the tiara on the far right side. Vintage Antique Post War Western Electric 302 Telephone Orange -Fully Working

Fantastic Western Electric 302 – Orange. This wonderful working example of 1930s design is sure to fit into your period decorating scheme. The Model 302 desk telephone was introduced in 1937. Created by famed industrial designer Henry Dreyfuss, the first versions had a die-cast zinc housing and were changed during the War to a thermoplastic housing. Previous desk models required a separate subscriber set or bell box that was attached by a line cord. While the 302 series telephone is predominately found in black, it was also produced in nine colors. When the thermoplastic housings became the standard, the colors were molded in the plastic of that color rather than painted on as was the case of the die-cast phones. Dial The No 6 dial has been fully disassembled, cleaned, lubed and timed to ensure years of trouble free service. The outer edge of the dial has been stripped and repainted with a gloss white enamel. Unless the dial is removed, this is something you will rarely ever even see, but this is how it would have come from the factory. The number plate has been cleaned and a perfectly matching overlay has been applied. We have added a brand new finger wheel and die cut dial card and acetate cover. The line cord has a modular connection to facilitate a modern connection to your wall jack. Shell The shell has been painstakingly put through a multi-step restoration process which includes sanding with 400, 800, 1000, 2000 grit. This ensures that there are no scratches, dents or dings. The shell is then professionally painted in a high gloss orange finish using Polane. This is a very durable and scratch resistant paint that will hold up for years. Base The base is completely stripped of all its components and painted with a high gloss black. The components are then cleaned, tested and reinstalled. Feet The feet are disassembled and sand blasted. They are then wrapped with super soft pig skin suede leather to ensure it does not damage the table it proudly sits on.
