Buchschmid & Gretaux Wood Inlay Tavern Tray Used Very Good As Is. Vintage German
In excellent condition this is a gorgeous piece of German marquetry craftsmanship designed and made by Buchschmid and Gretaux around the 1950s, possibly late 1940s. The artistic design features a tavern scene with 4 patrons having a very good time as shown by their laid-back demeanor: sitting in a chair backwards, shoes tossed off into the corner, and a chair overturned on its side in the corner. This beautiful vintage German tavern tray by Buchschmid & Gretaux is a true work of art. Made from high-quality wood and featuring stunning marquetry, it is a rare find for collectors of antique decorative items.
