Original WW2 M-1938 Mackinaw Jeep Coat, Size 36R, Like Real McCoys, Buzz Rickson

An absolutely stunning example of a first-pattern US Army M-1938 Mackinaw or Jeep Coat, complete with original belt, and in period size 36R, (please see measurements below). This piece has been issued and worn, but is otherwise in outstanding, museum condition. There are no issues or faults to report at all – there are no moth holes or grazing to be found anywhere on the coat, no fraying to back collar or cuff edges, no rips or tears, and all urea buttons, metal belt buckle and laurel leaf throat latch fastenings firmly sewn or anchored in place. This is a finely tailored example, with a neat shoulder cut and elegant curve to the sleeves. The interior nomenclature label is in mint condition, and identifies the maker as the Hillsdale Manufacturing Company and the date of manufacture as August 25th, 1941. The coat is reassuringly heavy – made in a sturdy cotton duck canvas exterior and lined/faced with a thick olive-drab wool melton – and is hence extremely warm. The cut is a little generous, as such military outer garments were cut larger to accommodate multiple layers underneath. Period Size 36 Regular. Sleeve length, from shoulder seam to cuff. Arm length, from centre back neck, along shoulder, down arm to end of cuff. Original first-pattern Mackinaws in such good condition as this are becoming increasingly hard to find now. As such, this coat is perfect for collection, display, reference or re-enactment, but otherwise represents a classic, practical and exceptionally stylish Winter coat – perfect wear for this time of year. French antique striking gilt carriage clock c1900 of smaller size

Small size striking carriage clock. In the last but one picture I have shown a regular sized striking clock which is not included! The clock is 6″ tall with handle up, 3″wide and 2.75 deep. The platform has been replaced, but it is the highest quality lever escapement and runs the clock extremely accurately. The clock is marked’made in France’ and unlike many of the so marked Chinese copies, this clock is 100% genuine. The gilt case is excellent overall, with one scratch on the top at the back. When the handle is down this is barely noticeable. All the glasses are good, but check photos as they form the description. 1920’s – 1930’s SINGER Sewing Machine Base. Three quarters, 3/4 Size for SINGER 99, 28, 128, VS-3. Amazing Condition for the age!! Includes: – SINGER 3/4 Size base. SINGER base extension board. The SINGER sewing machine is depicted for illustration purpose and is not included for sale. As weather conditions (temperature, humidity etc) will play a role too. The photos belong to bases restored in the past. The actual base you’ll get will have some differences due to the fact that wood grain never the same but also because of the fact that SINGER cases were hand made and produced in many factories around the world. So no case is the same with an other one. And if in doubt we can always cancel the sale. An extremely well preserved SINGER base which has been: -Restored to its Original Condition Using Techniques that were used at the time by SINGER. All maintenance & restoration done by 3FTERS Athens always adhering to their strict restoration program guidelines! We know vast majority of people dont really differentiate the two terms nowadays but there is actually a huge difference between them. All items we list as restored are almost 100% originals , nothing new put on them other than oil & grease, rubber o-rings (tires), rubber / felt feet, and motor / treadle belts, depending on the model. If a part is missing or damaged and we can’t repair it, we’ll replace it with one from a donor machine of the same era. Never a newer or a new one. Those items are certainly repainted as many think, nor have we put new stickers / decals which would then label them as renovated or “refurbished”. Everything was set in the factory back then. Motor sets may have a new plug and leads but coils and internals would be vintage and serviced. Lamps will be new. Always have in mind the time to restore an item, is many times the time needed to refurbish a same one. And although it is much, much more time consuming, we prefer this approach which preserves the authenticity and history of an item rather than just making it eye appealing but strip it from it’s history and identity. Huge Collection 18 Size Pocket Watches Waltham, Elgin, Rockford, U. S. Marion

Huge lot of antique American pocket watches. 18 watches in total. 17 of them are 18 size. 15 are open face and 3 are hunting case models. All are running and only 1 has an issue (broken mainspring). All started ticking literally after one turn of the crown or key and have been running and keeping good time for a few hours. Long terms accuracy and reliability have not been assessed. The collection comes in a briefcase type carrying/storage case with two layers of fitted foam inserts. Only one foam insert is shown in photo, which is appropriate for 18 size watches. The second foam insert (not shown) is more appropriate for 16 and 12 size watches (the cutouts are smaller). The briefcase has looks but I do not have the key. There is one antique 6 spoke universal winding key included, which is in rather poor shape but I was able to use it to wind and set all of the keywind watches. I have not polished or even wiped off any of these watches. All of them have glass crystals and the open face ones have the thick crystal with beveled edge. I will describe each watch briefly starting with the 15 OPEN FACE WATCHES that are inserted in the fitted foam in the photos with the one in the upper left being no. 1, and the one in the lower right being no. 16, 17, and 18 are the three HUNTER CASE WATCHES that are on top of the foam toward the middle of the first photo. Elgin Father Time 21 Jewel Railroad Pocket Watch. This Elgin Father Time railroad approved pocket watch is 16 size (case diameter 51 mm). The movement is a Father Time model with 21 jewels, adjusted 5 positions, lever set, gold jewel settings, gold center wheel, gold balance wheel screws, and fancy damasceening. The case is Keystone nickel silver marked Base Metal. Case is normal nice condition but note the bow has been replaced. Original porcelain dial looks good but has several hairlines and a small chip at the triple junction. Crystal is unbreakable replacement and excellent. This watch runs and keeps reasonably good time, but the service history is unknown, so it may need to be serviced. Sorry, this is NOT a “Make Offer” listing.
