1920’s – 1930’s SINGER Sewing Machine Bentwood case. Amazing Condition for the age!! Full Size / Length fits SINGER 201, 201-2 Potted, 15, 66, 319, 27, 127 etc. No power tools were used in any part of the restoration project! – SINGER Full Size base with bentwood cover. All parts (locks, hinges, etc) – Re-Produced key for the lock. The photos belong to cases restored in the past. The actual case you’ll receive will have some differences due to the fact that wood grain is never the same but also because of the fact that SINGER cases were hand made and produced in many factories around the world. So no case is the same with an other one. But rest assured, the case you’ll receive will be as astonishing as those depicted in the listing. An extremely well preserved SINGER base with bentwood cover which has been. Restored to its Original Condition Using Techniques that were used at the time by SINGER. Even the SINGER sticker is the original one placed there at the time of her production at SINGER factory. All maintenance & restoration done by 3FTERS Athens always adhering to their strict restoration program guidelines! This case will fit SINGER Vintage Sewing Machines models like: 15, 66, 127, 201, 201-2 Potted, 215, 216, 306, 316, 319 and all Vintage Sewing Machines with a “Full Size” base. Meaning the machine base should measure in inches: 14.6″ x 6.96″ or in centimeters 37.2cm x 17.7cm In absolutely amazing condition!! Will be lovingly packed and delivered to new owner by post/courier, or can be collected for free. Happy to provide additional photos, video or answer any questions. What’s the difference? We know vast majority of people dont really differentiate the two terms nowadays but there is actually a huge difference between them. The difference between restore and refurbish is that restore is to reestablish, or bring back into existence while refurbish is to rebuild or replenish with all new material. Restore English, Verb To reestablish, or bring back into existence. T o restore to original (or better) working order and appearance. To bring back to a previous condition or state. Since many people still keep asking questions about whether those items we list are repainted, with new stickers etc, we feel the need to clarify things. All items we list as restored are almost 100% originals , nothing new put on them other than oil & grease, rubber o-rings (tires), rubber / felt feet, and motor / treadle belts, depending on the model. If a part is missing or damaged and we can’t repair it, we’ll replace it with one from a donor machine of the same era. Never a newer or a new one. Those items are certainly repainted as many think, nor have we put new stickers / decals which would then label them as renovated or “refurbished”. Everything was set in the factory back then. Motor sets may have a new plug and leads but coils and internals would be vintage and serviced. Lamps will be new. Always have in mind the time to restore an item, is many times the time needed to refurbish a same one. And although it is much, much more time consuming, we prefer this approach which preserves the authenticity and history of an item rather than just making it eye appealing but strip it from it’s history and identity. About the item: Stunning full size antique carousel horse, c1890. It is beautifully carved in a’prancing’ style and the head is turned slightly to the left. There is lots of original metal work , including stirrups. There is a good amount of original paintwork giving just the right’distressed’ look. Overall condition is good in line with age and use. It is structurally sound with no loose joints etc. There is evidence of various historic repairs and some of the metal strap work is loose. The eyes look to be the original glass ones. The original horse hair tail has been replaced with leather but this could be easily rectified. It sits on a modern stand.
