A Farmhouse General Store Butcher Paper Roll Dispenser Holder, c. This Paper Roll Dispenser would look exceptional while staged in a Farmhouse inspired Kitchen. The base of the Dispenser appears to be a blank from reclaimed barn wood, it’s nicely aged and rustic. The cast side members shows a fair amount of patina, both sides read “Made in USA”. The center pine spindle lifts off the base to add different sized rolls. Condition: This Paper Dispenser was exceptionally well made. Tarnishing and patina is shown along the cast metal side members, as well as surface scratches and chips along the wood. A missing nail is shown where one of the side members meets the bottom base, we’ve circled this area in our photo gallery to reference. “Tempting the Man in the Moon” (10564). Published by Keystone View Company, formerly one of the largest stereoview publishers in the world. This is a stereoview (also known as a stereograph or stereoscope card). It was one of the first forms of 3D photography. The images were captured with a special stereoscopic camera, which had two lenses – simulating the view of our left and right eyes. The two, nearly identical pictures were then mounted next to each other (most commonly on a piece of cardstock, glued on as photographs or printed as lithographs). The image could then be seen in three dimensions when viewed through a device known as a stereoscope, stereopticon, and/or televiewer. Standard-size stereograph, measuring about 3.5 x 7 inches. All of my paper items are protected in archival-safe polypropylene sleeves and packaged in rigged cardboard. This offering is for an antique pair of early circa 1900’s Odd Fellows Folk Art Paper Mache Urns. Each Urn measures app. 14.5 tall and it retains much of it’s original red and gold paint. Both of the urns have had some repairs to the handles and areas of in use inpainting. The surfaces are quite nice with a nice patina. Otherwise the condition is excellent with wear to the paint as expected and repairs as noted. Composite face and hands, blue composite pants, black composite boots, rabbit fur hair and beard with original’tree’ sprig. Made in Germany sticker on foot. See photos for details. Some small holes on lower half under the’rim’. Looks to have been repaired previously. Only viewable when disassembled. Small hairline on left leg.
