At the back small cartouche with small date Nov. Full plate movement with cylinder escapement, repeater of the hours and quarters with two hammers on two gongs. Additional music movement with pin disc, backwards visible quadrature for the repetition, mirror polished. The Music Moment is 100% genuine and with full funktion, it plays loud and clear, sorry i don`t know the melody. Enamel dial with Arabic Breguet numerals and blued Breguet steel hands, finest quality and good condition, two small hardly visible restored rim chips at 1 and 7 o’clock. The quality and execution of this watch is of good quality. The watch was cleaned and function checked and adjusted by my watchmaker. Diameter 55mm, weight 134g, No. Open face / lepine-Gehäuse. ¼ repetition, Musik zur volle std. Sehr schön / very nice. Nowadays nearly imposible to find this Westerwald AR = Anna Regina — Queen Anne — stoneware jug, Stein. The GR / George Rex Westerwald jugs are also not that common anymore but these AR cipher jugs are now great rarities. Similar jugs can be found in the mayor museums. – Rijksmuseum, Cologne Museum, V&A, British Museum etc. The date of this jug is app. Reign period of Queen Ann: 1702 – 1714. The size = 18 cm = 7.086 Inches. CONDITION: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!!!! Original handle broken off and professionally glued back, breaks NOT restored, clean breaks hardly visible, See also detail photos + a very small chip at the outer top rim + an extremely small / thin less than 1 Inch hairline.
