The level has been a part of my collection which I now have to break up. It is a gem: the contrast between the Mahogany and brass is beautiful. Perfectly useable but a great collectible. There are minor dings and scratches but otherwise the level is in very good condition for a 100+ year old tool that was used. The Mahogany has no chips, cracks or stains. Brass has no damage other than minor scratches. The 2 vials are original, working and accurate; slightly dirty. There are no repairs or replacements! Length is 18 inches. Jappaned Brass, leather wrapped brass construction. Amazing Antique Display piece. Great addition for your collection! Condition: Great display condition! The leather wrapping shows some average wear expected from age, and the shade cover on one side has loose stitching. The jappaned brass show some mild scratching with a few areas of loss/exposed brass. There is some patina to the brass as well. The center wheel is tough to turn and requires a good amount of force to fully extend/detract. One objective lens shows moderate wear (see photos). The casing around one ocular lens is dented. GORGEOUS and RARE vintage Dresden brass wreath featuring 64 various animals, holidays and figures! The large wreath is rare with the brass bow & sweet ornate characters/animals of varying shades of brass -Perfect to hang all year long! What makes this wreath so AMAZING is the attached mirror! I debated about keeping it because Ive never seen one attached to a mirror as a collector! This bow-topped Dresden vintage brass wreath was created as a limited edition in the mid century. The company made specialty holiday wreaths with figures created from candy molds and Dresden ornament molds. The wreaths are handmade of brass metal with each figure placed on an individual brass wire that allows for gentle movement and placement of flowers and holiday adornments within your wreath as you customize to your exacting taste. No two are exactly alike. Measures roughly 16 tall with 64 characters. The characters are posable and could be repositioned to taste. The figures all have varying degrees of tarnish as this is a very old Dresden. One turkey figure is broken and is hanging unattached but wrapped around the wire so unnoticeable that its not originally affixed. The mirror could use a more thorough cleaning since I did a precursory one prior to pictures. The back has a crude wire for hanging. Please see all pictures for more specifics. This is a used antique Emerson Electric fan Type 19644 No. 165696 with brass Parker blades pat. Date 1899 on blades. Fan does work but speeds seem to be slow. The wires have insulation cut in one spot on two wires as shown in photos. This is a great collectors fan. Fan just needs a bit more tlc cleaning to be really nice looking. There is a wing nut missing on one side of the tilt. Also missing nut from bottom plate cover. Hard to find fans like this any more that work at all and in this nice of condition.
