Vintage David Klein TWA New York Times Square Poster 1960’s, Original

Condition A-: Professional restoration to remove tape and slight foxing. Paper with linen backing. View pictures for exact condition. Up for sale is one of the most sought after of David Klein’s posters for TWA, depicting a vibrant abstract view of Time Square with bright, electric colors. The original version of this poster was created in 1956, then updated once TWA entered the Jet Age. Estimated year of publication is circa 1964 for this rarely seen version of the poster. A year after it was first issued, a version of this poster was acquired by the Museum of Modern Art for their permanent collection and also resides in the Library of Congress. A true work of art. This version of the poster has the tagline “Up Up and Away TWA” in a triangular shape on the lower right corner. This poster is a must-have for collectors of air travel posters, TWA memorabilia, and those with an interest in mid-century modern décor. No tears or holes. Minor extremely small brown spot on lower left corner; a very small, slight discoloration in one blue panel area; and slight raised area where tape was removed in one spot on bottom left corner. The last three pictures show these minor flaws. Otherwise, this poster is in incredible condition. Size with linen backing: 43.5″ x 28″. Vintage old wood antique tube radio Marconi model 201 Stunning piece here

This is the 1942 Marconi 5 tube + Tuning Tube radio and it is simply gorgeous. This model 201 Marconi radio is very rare and certainly a collectors “must have”. This gorgeous radio is 13 long x 10 tall x 7 deep. The cabinet have a unique design and is in beautiful condition. I recently refinished the cabinet and it appears to be a nice walnut color. The radio displays its nice colors and has plenty of beautiful wood grains throughout. The top of the radio really catches the eye with notched in grooves down the center and sides. The big arched dial face is in excellent condition and the brass pointer works as it should. Additionally, this radio has the “Magic Tuning Eye” factory installed which indicate your signal strength as you are tuning for stations. The big large grill looks wonderful and has a new grill cloth. The three knobs have been cleaned and resealed. There is a new dial cover, new dial lamp, new AC Power cord, and new Filter/Audio capacitors installed. The 5 tubes plus the Tuning Eye have been tested and the remaining components were checked & replaced if needed. This is a wonderful example of the Canadian Radio Industry waiting for you to display in your favorite place in the home or office. The radio plays and receives stations very well. There are no issues. The speaker is in excellent condition and has very good volume, tone, and clarity. There is an Antenna pigtail at the rear of the radio that will need to be stretched out in order to receive and perform properly. Performance will vary depending on your signal strength and location. This is the 1940/41 Philco 5 tube radio and it is a recent restoration in and out. This is one of the Philco big sellers back in the day. This is the model PT-6. This gorgeous little “put anywhere” radio is only 12″ long x 8.5″ tall x 7 deep. The cabinet is in beautiful condition and I have recently refinished the cabinet. The front of the cabinet has a very nice speaker grill design and rounded corners. The veneers offer nice colors and wood grains all around. The ends of the radio are of solid woods. The glass dial bar is in excellent condition and the sliding pointer works as it should. The two knobs have been cleaned and resealed. There is a new dial lamp, new AC Power cord, new speaker grill, and new Filter/Audio capacitors installed. The 5 tubes have been tested and the remaining components were checked & replaced if needed. Also there is a built in “Loop” Antenna that receives stations very well. No need for a bunch of wires behind the radio! This is a wonderful example of the American Radio Industry waiting for you to display in your favorite place in the home or office. The radio plays and receives stations very well. There are no issues. The speaker is in excellent condition and has very good volume, tone, and clarity. Performance will vary depending on your signal strength and location. Just completed the restoration of this beautiful highly collectable 1938 Philco tube radio. This the Philco model 38-12. It is a “put anywhere” size of 11.5″ long x 8″ tall x 6.5 deep. The radio’s cabinet is refinished and has wonderful wood grains, and colors. The radio has rounded corners, and a very nice top. The two original knobs have been cleaned, polished, and resealed. The dial face and pointer are very nice and the pointer works as required. The brass dial bezel has been cleaned, polished, and resealed. There is a new Dial Lamp, new AC Power Cord, new speaker grill cloth, and new Audio/Filter Capacitors. Chassis cleaned, all tubes tested, and the remainder of the components tested/adjusted and replaced if needed. Speaker provides excellent projection, tones, and clarity. This little radio has an Antenna pigtail at the rear of the radio which will required a few feet of wire to be attached for proper reception and performance. Reception and performance will depend on your location, antenna length, and signal strength. Excellent player here with no issues. This radio would look wonderful in you office or home on display. This is a late 1930’s 7 tube antique tube radio and it is absolutely gorgeous. This radio is obviously a rare model due to the fact that I can not find anything about. I have many resources that I use when ever the radio has no identification for the brand or model. The chassis have the “256” stamped on the back and the radio reminds me of an Air Castle/Silvertone line. This gorgeous radio is 16.5″ long x 9″ tall x 7.25 deep. The cabinet is in beautiful condition which I just refinished. The radio displays its nice dark colors and has plenty of beautiful wood grains throughout. The big framed in 6 dial face is in excellent condition and the sliding station indicator pointer works as it should. The dial Bezel has been polished and resealed. The 4 knobs are made of wood and look great/function as required. The rear is a “Tone” knob and the front from left to right is the On/Off Vol, Band Selector, and the Tuning knob. Just below the dial is the metal name plate “General”. There are rounded corners and a big wrap around speaker grill. There is a new dial cover, new speaker grill cloth, new dial lamps (2), new AC Power cord, and new Filter/Audio capacitors installed. The 7 tubes have been tested and the remaining components were checked & replaced if needed. This is a wonderful example of the American Radio Industry waiting for you to display in your favorite place in the home or office. The radio plays and receives stations very well. There are no issues. The speaker is in excellent condition and has very good volume, tone, and clarity. There is an Antenna Pigtail on the back of the radio that will require some extra wire be attached for proper reception and overall performance. Performance will vary depending on your signal strength and location. This was not a cheap radio back in its day. Not many of these around. Thank you very much for stopping in!
