Welcome to my sale – this is my personal Vintage Barbie collection that I have assembled for several years and kept behind glass in my smoke-free home. This collection consists of over 200 individual pieces dolls, clothing, jewelry, accessories, and furniture. There are 30 dressed dolls – 14 Barbie, 9 Ken, 4 Midge, 2 Allan, and one Skipper. All the dolls and clothing, with the exception of one doll (repro Allan) and one outfit (repro Miss Astronaut) are original vintage sixties-seventies, all authentic Mattel. Many of the ensembles are complete. UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED, all of the dolls and clothing are clean and in excellent to near mint condition – with no green, chews, missing digits, stains, rips, holes, odors or other damage. I would say not for the “mint” collector – realize these dolls were once played with by children so they are not going to look “untouched” – but still very, very nice and a beautiful collection overall. Please read the descriptions, where I have done my best to provide details and issues to the best of my knowledge, and examine the photos, and don’t hesitate to contact me if you have questions or need more information. Space doesn’t allow me to take detailed pictures of every doll but I’m happy to answer any specific questions and will send more photos of any doll(s) if you ask. It will only appreciate in value, as I note prices in general for vintage Barbie are more than when I first started collecting. Please note that stands are NOT included. Shelf 1: 1961 Flock Hair Ken (some missing patches), Chow Time apron, hat, 1 utensil, oven mit (1964); Titian #5 Ponytail Barbie in Picnic Set (1959), complete, no frog on hat. 1964 straight leg Skipper, Silk n’ Fancy (1964). 1964 Fashion Queen Barbie, Silken Flame and Red Flare (1962) ensemble, complete; 1962 Painted Hair Ken, original swimsuit, jacket, cork sandals and towel; #6 Brunette Ponytail Barbie in Enchanted Evening (1960), has pink glitter OT heels; Blonde Bubble cut Barbie, Senior Prom (1963), Going to the Ball jacket (1964), no green OT heels; Blonde Bubble cut Barbie, red Helenca swimsuit, gold glitter sunglasses, gold wedge sandals, 1961 Open Road straw hat (red chiffon scarf needs to be reattached). 1963 Midge, Majorette (1964), no baton; 1962 Painted Hair Ken, Drum Major (1964), ball missing from top of baton. 1965 hard-to-find first Bend-Leg Ken in original swimsuit outfit with cork sandals, flawless head with high color face paint, all original; early #5 Ponytail, Silken Flame (1960), gold dimple clutch and belt (touch of green on earring holes – photo was taken w/gold hoop earrings but they have been replaced with new “safe” pearl earrings); White Ginger Bubble cut, beautiful face paint with pale pink lips and aqua eyeliner in pink Pak Scoop Neck Playsuit, 1962, Vacation Time pink flats JAPAN 1965; 1964 Fashion Queen Barbie (missing blue headband) in repro Miss Astronaut from 1965. Brunette Bubble cut, Friday Night Date (1960) complete (there are three tiny reddish dots on skirt). 1963 Painted Hair Ken, Dreamboat (1961) complete (hat is extra nice with original feather decoration intact). Shelf 3: 1962 Painted Hair Ken, Victory Dance Blazer (1964); early #5 Ponytail (has been cut) original face paint and shiny complexion, Suburban Shopper (1963) missing necklace. 1963 Midge, Pak Body Blouse, Barbie Baby Sits (1965); has bassinet, liner, blanket, pillow, baby, diaper with pin, robe, bottle. Blonde Bubble cut, Bride’s Dream (1963); 1961 Flock Hair Ken (excellent head, no missing patches), Campus Hero (1961). 1964 Fashion Queen with blue headband & rare JAPAN label on back of head, After Five (1962) black patent Pak clutch purse included. 1963 Midge (beautiful face paint, has been retouched, perfect hair in original style), Let’s Dance (1960). Shelf 4: 1962 Painted Hair Ken, GUAG United Airlines Pilot (1973); 1964 titian swirl Ponytail (hair is in updo, as I got her, don’t know if ponytail was cut, but likely) in American Airlines Stewardess, complete (1961). 1962 Painted Hair Ken, Saturday Date (1961). 1964 Allan, Touchdown (1963), complete; 1963 Midge, Cheerleader (1964), complete; repro Allan w/wrist tag in. Roller Skate Date sweater and cap (1964). #5/6 Ponytail Barbie w/factory braid hair, Registered Nurse (1961), incomplete, has hot water bottle and spoon. Bottom: Stereo TV Console, chair, ottoman, lamp, framed Ken picture from Barbie’s original 1962 Dream House – all pieces are in very nice condition.
